Q:I installed this a year ago and the lower bar keeps coming out of the wall brackets. I used the included template and the upper bar is fine. I've tried putting a bit of silicone into the hole where the bar mounts on each side but it hasn't helped.

A: Had a similar issue. I ultimately gave up and replaced it with a Kohler towel bar. I think it has a better mounting system and I have had no problems with it. Good luck.

A: Not sure the exact weight but we have two oversized heavy bath sheets it holds with no issues even when they are both completely soaked.

Q:We installed this about a year and a half ago and love the look of it. However, because of the length we are only able to hit one stud. The other side is pulling away from the wall, even with the anchor. Any suggestions?

A: I was close to a stud but had to open the wall added a piece of wood to the second (one I missed). Also after I had done this, I given this advice fasten a nice piece of wood to the studs then use that to fasten the towel bar to the wall. Looks good. The wood piece had to fit the width of the towel bar.

This is a good looking item and was exactly what we needed but the mounting hardware was complete garbage. Get yourself some different screws/wall anchors because the stuff that comes with it are terrible. You can strip the screws by looking at them in the wrong light and the anchors will generally just break off. I ended up moving the rack lower than my old rack because the anchors that came with the product did so much damage to to my wall without actually holding any weight.

Piece of junk

Unlike others I did not have installation issues or any problems with this falling off the wall. The top / back bar of this is rarely used, and while it gets condensation on it from steam it is not in direct water. In less than a year the bar started rusting and in two years it is completelycovered in rust. The bottom bar, which is used daily for a damp washcloth, is now also rusting. I am not sure what good a towel rack is if it rusts while it is being used as intented. Unfortunately this is drilled into tile and I also bought the matching drawer pulls and faucets so I have little choice but to replace with the same model. However, I will never recommend this product to anyone.

Was easy to put together but you will have to glue mounting brackets too asemble or it will come off when you pull towels off fack and come all apart. I used some silicone on bracket then mounted towel bracket along with butterfly bolts to hold the weight of two towels Looks and works fantastic.
