Very pleased. I did but a stronger, more sturdy anchor and the result is a very stable strong towel ring. No movement at all.

I wish I could give this advice to all Delta drywall mount users
The towel ring, robe hook and towel bars all work flawlessly when you attach the base to a stud but they will all wobble if you use the included plastic drywall anchors. Why? BECAUSE the plastic drywall anchors have a flange that won't allow the base to sit flush with the wall! The outer holder relies on friction to hold it firmly to the base so if the base is not flat against the wall, the fit is loose and you have a wobbly towel bar, robe hook or towel ring. SOLUTION. After inserting the plastic drywall anchor, use a single edge razor or a box cutting knife to slice off the flange so that NOTHING sits above the drywall. Now you can screw in the base and when you attach the outer holder to it, you will have a firm friction fit against the base and wall. I pulled my hair out trying to bend the base arms to get a better fit but after no luck, I tried trimming the flange off the drywall anchor and it worked perfectly.

Very easy to install with no set screw. The Delta Silverton line is sturdy, strong and beautiful. I installed this several other pieces from the Delta Silverton line in 3 different bathrooms in a house that I completely renovated to flip and sell. I sold the house in 3 day!

Nice Looking, but seriously flawed design!
This is a nice looking towel ring, the materials and finish are nice. I can say (as an engineer) that the mounting system, as many other reviews have noted, is poorly engineered and it is absurd that the product passed any design reviews, much less product testing. We kept it, but secured it with a dot of GE Silicone II caulk on each of the mounting tabs. It will be a bear to remove for painting, a spring retainer or better yet, a traditional setscrew should have been provided. SOME METHOD of retaining the part to the wall, otherwise it is frustrating at best, and a safety issue at worst.

The ring itself has a nice solid feel to it and the "grommet" insert keeps it from flopping, so that has a nice feel as well. We also like the design of the Silverton collection. The problem is that the Delta wall mounting clips don't do a good job of holding the baseplate tight to the wall. It feels loose and has alot of play even though the clip itself is securely fastened. The design of the mounting clip is the problem. The competitor M**n mounts have a set screw on the tapered mount that draws the item tight to the wall. It is much better than the Delta system of sliding loosely onto the clip without anything to secure it.

The rack itself is nice. However, the drywall anchors that come with it are HORRIBLE. They don’t drill into the wall well at all and don’t break once in the drywall. It was a huge paint trying to get them to work so I bought separate drywall anchors and it worked so much better.
