Tesla Single Hole Single-Handle Bathroom Faucet in Polished Nickel

Well, I got caught on this one. In my haste to get the order placed I didn't realize this model ships without a drain assembly. Totally my fault since the description clearly states, "Drain assembly sold separately." This fixture has no provision for a drain lift lever so only a Pop-Up drain assembly will work. Thankfully, Home Depot stocks this part in chrome to match the faucet finish. It's Delta's model number 72173 and Home Depot's Internet number 204154080. I had to order this since the faucet I'm replacing has a drain assembly in chrome but requires a lift lever. The unit ships with the necessary parts to complete the installation plus three tools to make the install and future maintenance easier. An aerator removal tool, a cartridge removal tool and a mounting nut tightening tool. The 6-1/8 in. escutcheon plate for 3-hole installations is also included. In addition you'll also need an adjustable wrench, a small amount of Teflon tape, some 100% silicone clear caulk, a rag and a small bucket. The included directions are clearly written and well illustrated. The installation is really simple but if you want to see how it's done I provided a link to Delta's "Installing a Bathroom Faucet" video below. The faucet works great. There's plenty of water pressure and the mixer lever is easy to operate. Delta offers a Lifetime Faucet and Finish Warranty and since it's a Delta product replacement parts are usually available at your local hardware store.

I love trying new faucets. This Tesla single hole faucet is very attractive. The chrome finish has a tendency of picking up finger prints but can be easily wiped off. The faucet handle is like a joy stick, it moves around effortless. This faucet came with the water hoses pre-assemble, a plate to cover 3 holes sink which is a plus, since the plate cover is very hard to find locally. The water flow is smooth, strong of slow depend on how you move the handle. When replacing a faucet, I like to also change out the sink stopper which did not come with this faucet.

When I first saw this faucet, I knew it was going to look perfect on my hall bathroom vanity (Candlesby Model # CD24P2-CL). I find it to be modern but just a tad bit eclectic in the shape and function of the handle. The handle moves smoothly and I like the simple blue/red dots on top to indicated temperature. Installation was easy but I did not realized that the drain was not included, my bad, I didn't read the listing details. I plan on getting a pop-up drain (Delta Mode # 72173) because it fits with the simplicity of the design and my vanity. However, in the directions they also illustrate how you can use a more traditional lever drain.

Delta is a brand we all know and have come to trust for many years. I have used less expensive Delta faucets in my home and they all have served me well over the years. This Tesla line of faucets are very modern and will compliment many of today's bathrooms. Delta offers many accessories of the Tesla line to allow more choices in one's design. The installation is about the easiest faucet I have ever experienced. One nut and an included wrench is all there is to it. WOW! It is hard enough getting under a bath sink to install any faucet and this Delta installation system reduces a ton of stress and a few choice words. Ladies- take comfort that if you do not have a male friend to help, I feel you can tackle this easily. Then instructions are very helpful and the lines are color coded too. Just make sure all connections are tight and check for leaks. Lay a newspaper down for a little while after installing. Sometimes just a tightening here and there is all that is needed to correct any leaks. It is a little higher in price but remember that one gets what he/she pays for. Overall, a good value since I feel that this is a faucet that will last trouble-free for many years.

This thing is beautiful and super smooth. It was a lot heavier than any other faucet I've ever installed and was really easy to install. It comes with tools to help you get the screw under the sink tight without being a contortionist. It also has a tool so you can remove and clean the filter where the water come out. One thing I should note is that this doesn't come with the ability to move the stopper up and down and was meant for a sink that you never want to fill with water. We don't really want that so this is the perfect faucet for us.

I have to say that I would never have considered this faucet because of the price point, but now having it installed in my home, I’m planning on purchasing three more for my bathrooms upstairs. This is a very heavy duty, clean line faucet that is easy to install, and works very smoothly. The faucet itself is absolutely solid and comes with a shiny nickel finish which is really easy to clean it up it take just wipe off even after several days of hard water stain. The knob for turning the faucet on and off or hot and cold works like a joystick for a video game and it very sensitive and easy to work with and it gets to the right temperature control. I did end up using the three hole installation, or rather the base that converts a three hole sink into a single faucet sink (cower the other two holes) and although it's not as sturdy as the faucet itself, it definitely works. It stands a good 6 inches above the sink with plenty of room to get your head under there if you need to do a quick rinse and it is pretty easy to clean. Only time will tell if the nickel starts to fade or erode, but Delta clamed life time on finish with normal use, for now I'm quite pleased with it and would definitely recommend it

The delta tesla single hole single-handle bathroom faucet in chrome is a very solid feel faucet. It has diamond seal technology that is suppose to be good for five million uses. There is a 6-1/8 inch escutcheon to use on a 3-hole sink. There is no pop-up drain asm. included. I plan on using this faucet on my new laundry tub and I will not need a pop-up. Comes with 36 inch pex supply lines that will be great for my hook-up.Very fine looking faucet.

Anyone that installs this faucet on a three hole installation should re-think their life choices. Buy a one hole sink people.

Beautiful faucet, modern clean lines, appears to be very well-made and good function. Looks great in our new bathroom renovation. Very easy installation, my husband did it himself.
