We installed this kit in a rental unit. I wanted something that would hold up..without breaking the bank. I am VERY pleased with this kit. Everything matches well and the fit is good. The kit functions well. I would say one of the best things about this particular kit was the instructions. The sink faucet went together very well and the instructions were perfect! The shower kit was little trickier. I was using a direct to stud shower surround kit and I think that may have made the install a little tougher.

I selected this set as I am redoing my bathroom with all oil rubbed bronze fixtures. My current fixtures are apparently original from when the house was built. I have replaced several faucets in the past and figured this one would be just as easy. Unfortunately my copper pipes are corroded so I’m going to have to hire a plumber. Otherwise the faucet portion is an easy installation and even includes the drain plug that matches the faucet. However, keep in mind that the waterlines that hook to the faucet are not included with this set. You will need to buy those separately. But those are reasonably inexpensive. The thing that I like most about this set is that every piece is made of metal. There is no plastic, (other than some of the components that make up the “guts” of the fixtures). And since this is a Delta I know that it will last for years to come.

This beautiful Delta shower/faucet combination includes everything you need to up-grade your bathroom fixtures including a matching finish pop-up drain assembly and new valve controls. The universal valve control provides connections for all types of commonly found water piping. The beautiful oil rubbed finish is a huge improvement over my old chrome fixtures and makes my guest bathroom look brand new. The shower head provides strong water pressure with a nice spray pattern. The pressure balance feature of the control valve allows you to adjust the shower temperature without worrying about getting extreme hot or cold water temperatures. Installation does take some time and if you are not mechanically inclined, may require a plumber. However I installed mine and the directions were easy to follow. This is a high quality bundle and I trust Delta's long history of providing worry free products.

The craftsmanship is as one expects from Delta, they make outstanding products. I liked it so well when it arrived I ordered a second faucet so I could have my master bath changed over to this style. I knew I was in over my head on the plumbing so I actually hired a plumber to do the install. He said it was a very straight forward install.

The Delta Windemere set is a high quality made unit. It is fairly easy to install if you follow the well explained instructions. The oil rubbed bronze set looks high end when installed and will give your bathroom a high end look. I have used many Delta products in the past and find that they last and give a great appearance. Delta products have a limited lifetime warranty if you should ever have a failure.

This bundle from Delta includes a shower head, (including the wall pipe and escutcheon for showerhead), a tub spout with pop-up diverter, a universal tub/shower rough-in that is made of heavy brass, and a 4-inch centerset 2-handle faucet with pop-up drain assembly. All trim pieces are finished in oil-rubbed bronze, which is rich and dark with subtle copper accents. Installation of the showerhead, tub trim pieces and faucet is easy, but the diverter rough-in will requires some plumbing skills and while you may not need to alter your existing plumbing behind the wall, installation of the diverter requires access to the existing diverter and supply lines, and removal of the old diverter, which is most likely soldered into place. The diverter is set up to accept 3 common types of connection (IPS, PEX and universal). The style and finish of the included parts all coordinate, and its less costly to purchase the tub/shower trim and faucet as a bundle rather than to purchase these items separately. The addition of a tub drain strainer, towel bar, toilet paper holder and a robe hook will complete the look. The showerhead is a water-saver type and is fairly basic in that there is no adjustment for the water spray. The 2-handle faucet is well-made and heavy, and is of very good quality. Supply lines are not included and must be purchased separately prior to installation, unless you are able to reuse your existing supply lines. Although oil-rubbed bronze can show water spots, especially if you have hard water, I prefer it over chrome, brushed stainless, and other finishes.

Having installed many over the years, this is a nice package but together by the manufacturer. As Delta states: "The Delta Multi-Choice Universal Valve gives you the flexibility to upgrade the style and functionality of your shower without altering the plumbing behind the wall...." That can be a big plus to many customers. What's to like here: First, everything matches, no trying to order all the right parts to get it all to match. Simple. Easy. So, the shower head matches the tub spout matches the sink faucet matches the sink drain - you get the idea. Second, the (in wall) shower valve is a quality device that allows for connections by any of the current water piping systems (PEX to copper or more). Third, there is lots of metal here, which is heavy and of quality manufacture. The faucet assembly is a beautiful rubbed bronze with metal components. In addition, the sink drain assembly (i.e., tail pipe and more) is metal. Thank you. Can't count how many times faucets come with plastic drain assemblies that are ... poor, compared to metal. I only install metal now. Fourth, if you are a DIY type, go slow and don't mix all the parts together. Work on one thing at a time. Overall, this is a wonderful matching package in rubbed bronze that can be changed over time from a trusted manufacturer: Delta.
