Don't be fooled by its smaller size
This is significantly smaller than my first Denby cast iron casserole but had never once filled it to the top despite being big eaters. It tones beautifully with the rest of my Halo range and it's also stylish enough to be on show while I'm using it. It's also very versatile for oven cooking as well as hob and feels extremely sturdy and luxurious quality.

So useful
Just the right the colour..the flavour is sealed with a snug fitting lid
No kitchen should be without one
Every bit as good as Le Creuset, if not better. As empty nesters we needed a smaller casserole than the several French ones we have. This 'smaller' 20cm is ideal for 3 and possibly even 4 people. Beautifully made with good, practical handles. Would not look out of place on the dinner table, either. Used it first to make a Flemish Carbonnade of Beef - mwah! Bottom oven of the Aga for hours on end without spoiling. Very pleased with it. Delivery service was spot on. Thoroughly recommended.

Worth every penny
A great casserole dish, as good if not better than Le Creuset and I've a few of them. Now we're empty nesters, bought it because it's 20cm and plenty for 3. In fact, to its full capacity it'll probably feed 4. Beautifully made, attractive to look at and good, practical handles. You could take it to the dinner table to serve and it wouldn't look out of place. First use was for a Flemish Carbonade of Beef,.... mwah! If you've got an Aga, it's a marriage made in food heaven. Recommended.
