Cabinet is painted with a gloss paint. You can repaint, if you rough up the finish first, to get good adhesion. It does not appear this is a "Wrapped" cabinet.

37 by 22 top I used an offset sink so I don't know about a center mount. It would depend a lot on where the plumbing comes in if your replacing a smaller vanity and the plumbing comes in to the right it will interfere with the drawers. also a shallow sink or one of those counter top styles would work for sure.

Plywood sides, but poor quality control

First, you have to assemble yourself. That takes some effort. You have to go buy wood glue. Instructions are minimal and mostly useless/wrong. Mine was only partially predrilled. I had to drill some extra holes. Their quality control at the factory is marginal as parts of the cabinet were not perfect. Some metal braces were missing. Sorry, I don't have time to contact the Mfg and ask for replacement parts/panels. It holds up my projects. I made it work. But it is made of plywood which is better in the bathroom.

This was easy to assemble, once I figured out that the black clips covering the hinges had to come off. Just a suggestion, I would put that in the assembly instructions. Other than that, very happy to have a new vanity.

My original purchase of the Brooking 559005 Bathroom Vanity had to be returned because one panel had two unpainted 3” long grooves and another was unpainted in one corner. I reordered it and the 2nd vanity had one panel with unpainted spots at the base and one door had a black ink fingerprint showing under the paint. The manufacturer offered to send replacements for these panels. One of the replacement panels was very warped and had an unpainted spot. The manufacturer was contacted for the paint code for touch ups and they told us to buy the $30 touch up kit online. We bought the touch up kit and the colors don't match the panels very well at all. We found assembling the vanity to be very challenging. Several panels were slightly warped so we couldn’t secure these to their adjoining panels without some gap showing between them. Most of the predrilled screw holes didn’t line up with the bracket holes making it difficult to attach the panels. I have put together many unassembled pieces of furniture over the years and never had this much trouble. I cannot recommend this vanity due to its lack of quality which then made assembly unnecessarily difficult.

This vanity from Design House Brookings comes delivered to your door unassembled. I found it very easy to assemble using a drill/driver and screwdriver bit, even for a first time do it yourself project. All panels came labeled with easy to follow instructions. The front panel came fully assembled with the doors and soft close hinges properly adjusted. Hardware was minimal, so no worries trying to use the wrong screws. Each panel came assembled with metal angle brackets that you simply line up with pre-drilled holes in the adjacent panel. The box frame was very sturdy even without the use of glue, although I would recommend wood glue as directed. The doors came with a pair of pull knobs that are optional because they don’t have the holes fully drilled through, for just that reason. The white finish and Shaker design looked very good.

I am remodeling my lower level bathroom and I changing the colors from whites & chromes to bronze and oil bronze features and fixtures. The Brookings Ready to Assemble 24 in. W x 21 in. D 2-Door Shaker Style Bath Vanity Cabinet Only in Espresso is a nice complement to my oil bronze faucet and bathroom lighting. The Vanity Cabinet arrived in a couple of days in a sturdy box. My son was over for the day and he decided to put the vanity together for me. He opened the box to find the Assembly instructions, hardware and the Vanity. The instructions have a page with required tools and pictures. That is very handy for someone who is inexperienced. The parts list show what should be packaged in the box. The Hardware list shows what hardware is packaged in the box. The assembly instructions are easily followed with steps and pictures making it a breeze to assemble the Vanity. About 15 minutes later my son had the Vanity completely together and was asking where I wanted to put the knobs or if I even wanted the knobs put on. It looks stylish either way, with or without. Although there is no mention of a drill bit being needed or what size drill bit to use to install the knobs. The rich espresso color of the Vanity is very attractive and the literature says it’s water resistant. The front and door frame are made out of solid birch. The sides and back are made out of particle board. You can add a shelf for extra storage. I like the size of the D 2-Door Shaker Style Bath Vanity Cabinet. I also like the concealed hinges. The Vanity does not come with the Vanity top, sink and faucet, they are all sold separately. The Vanity is California 93120 compliant meaning it adheres to the toughest production standards in the world for formaldehyde emissions, (in wood composite paneling). Design House offers a limited 1-year warranty on the Vanity and hardware. On the Home Depot product page is the Installation Guide, Instructions/Assembly and Warranty. I am completely satisfied with the Brookings Ready to Assemble 24 in. W x 21 in. D 2-Door Shaker Style Bath Vanity Cabinet Only in Espresso and am looking forward to picking out a Vanity top as I already have the oil bronze faucet.

High quality materials and craftsmanship for a relatively low end price... probably twice as much if it came fully assembled. The two doors however are pre-mounted with soft close hinges making the assembly less of a task. It arrived extremely well packaged with absolutely no damage. I unpacked it all and staged all the pieces on a blanket for preparation to assemble. That was when I discovered that some of the hardware was missing... assorted screws of 4 different types and the bumpers and pulls for the doors and drawers. I called customer service and was cheerfully informed an entire new hardware package would be sent out. Ten days later I still hadn't received anything. I called again and was informed this time that the delay was caused by their necessity to take apart another unit to acquire the pieces I needed. This made little sense to me since the cabinets are sold unassembled but I decided there was nothing to be gained by questioning this. In any event, the good news was that I had received the hardware specific to this unit and the missing items were generic in type so I went to the store and bought an assortment of different appropriately sized screws, bumpers and pulls and proceeded with the assembly. All the cabinet pieces are of high quality veneered plywood, MDF or solid maple. The assembly fasteners and assembly techniques however did not strike me well suited for novices but if you have medium level skills you will get it done. The doors are soft & automatic closing and required no adjustments. The two drawers are not soft closing but are not harsh at all and having to close them manually is no great burden. One thing I did like is that the drawer rails are secured to the back panel which means there is no partition panel needed, making more room for the plumbing connections. I purchased separately the countertop/sink and faucet and am extremely happy with the results.

Well made solid 24 inch bath vanity. I have stayed away from ready to assemble cabinets- but in this Brookings ready to assemble cabinet I feel I found a sturdy cabinet that was easy to assemble. When I took the pieces out of the shipping carton I was at first confused by the black brackets- then realized the black plastic were bracket protectors and slip off easily and are no longer needed. All of the parts fit together and the screw holes were marked. My mistake was I used a polyurethane glue which tended to expand as it cured. I should have used a good white wood glue. The sides and back are plywood, face frame is said to be maple and the doors are MDF. . The white finish looks good. The face/front of the cabinet comes fully assembled. The back is solid which I like since some vanities have no back. The full back makes for a sturdier vanity. I will have to cut out for my water connections. All in all this cabinet was sturdier and utilized better materials and hardware than vanities at a much higher price point.

As you can see from the pictures below, the vanity arrived in a flat box.......completely UN-assembled. I guess that's what "ready to assemble" means in the description. It took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to assemble the vanity. Once it was completed assembled, it very solid, sturdy and square. The finish on the vanity is very nice. Doors are soft close, but my drawers are not. cons: 1) The instructions were not great 2) A drill was required, but not listed in the instructions 3) The finish chipped when I drilled the holes for the knobs, but the knobs covered the chip If you are handy, this is quite a simple task . I would recommend it. The weird thing....I thought it would be a little less expensive.
