Parts were missing, the design is very difficult to assemble...
Parts were missing, the design is very difficult to assemble alone, or with help for that matter! I brought it back and got a Hampton Bay light similar to this one and installed it by myself in less than 20 minutes! I am sticking with Hampton Bay from now on! Oh one more thing the HB was cheaper!

Horrible
Purchased this light for my kitchen. Assembly was ridiculous. The glass shade is so fragile ,made trying to assemble difficult. I wouldn't recommend this.

They should pay you for this fixture
I bought the chandelier and it's beautiful. This fixture is difficult and time consuming to assemble and install. i dread the time when I have to change the bulbs. Don't buy this item.

VERY Disappointed!!!
I'm not sure if I got a dud or what but after my husband and myself both spent 10 minutes each trying to get the screw holes in the shade to line up with the holes in the metal pieces that hang down and attach to the shade we gave up. There was just NO WAY this was going to go together correctly with the super short screws provided and misalignment. I will be contacting Home Depot to try and get a replacement. For $90 it is pretty but not functional so completely useless. Very disappointed and aggravated.

Fits our dining room perfectly.
Overall, the fixture looks perfect in my dining room and we have received many compliments. I must admit that at first, we did not love the yellowish color and swirly pattern of the glass shade. But once installed, we decided that all was OK. Additionally, my husband expressed some concern about the the length of the screws that attach the lamp to the ceiling, thinks that there is room for improvement.
