Defective Design
After assembling the lamp, we noticed that the threaded down rod was too short AND it was on a sharp angle. Both of these defects forced the glass diffuser to hang too high in the shade AND on a sharp angle instead of level. I wish I had purchased something with a buying history so there were more reviews. I waited 2 weeks for the delivery. I really like the lamp but I don't think I'll take a chance waiting another 2 weeks for another defective product.

After waiting for lamp about 2 weeks, when we opened the box to do the installation one of the glass covers was defective and would not go in all the way due to the hole on the bottom of the glass was smaller than the rest. We had to return it to the store and since it was an online order we would have to reorder again and wait so we devided on another lamp.
