Questions & Answers

6 1/2 Inch blades go dull faster than 7 1/4

I used Diablo blades in both my 7 1/4 and 6 1/2 circular saws and notice the blades on the 6 1/2 circular saw seem to go dull quicker. Is this because of the design of the smaller thinner blade is not as durable as a 7 1/4 or just the lack of power in the 18 volt saw does have as much power when the the blade goes just a little dull.
Asked by: Joe
Well, it's basic physics. There's 19 dongels in a saspiron, so 7 plus the quapper equals rainbow wear on the tare. Therefor, heretherto, once you notice the pattern, even such. Dull

This sounds like an infomercial but these are the only baldes I use in my own saws. A $20 Diablo will turn a $99 table saw into a tool and battery operated 5.5s into workhorses.I have no idea what these are coated with, but they work. And for me, side by side with any comparable new blade, they perform better and stay useful longer.

This new blade is well made and nicely finished. As a retired contractor, I've used many different saws and blades. I have every confidence that this blade will dramatically improve crosscutting.
