Diablo 7-1/4 in. x 40-Teeth Finish Saw Blade is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 2316.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best For My Bucks I have never used this blade in a portable circular saw. I have used these blades, almost exclusively in my twenty year old Ryobi BT3000 tablesaw, for more than fifteen years. I like them even better than the original blade that came with it, which was a high quality blade, made by Freud. A replacement blade would cost $40. I have used them heavily in shop use, building custom furniture, cabinets, or whatever. In all that time, I have also used it for a job site saw. Manufactured all the exterior trim, board and batt siding, framing lumber, or whatever, from rough lumber, for probably five or six houses. In twenty years, I have replaced this blade, three or four times, tops. The last one I bought even came with a coupon, for the forty tooth blade. Its still hanging, unopened, in my shop. So, yes, I highly recommend this blade. I imagine the cut quality is as good as blades costing ten times more. The topper is, no need for re-sharpening. woodchuck1954 "A Legend in his own Mind"

The teeth dulled easily when embedded 10p nails were struck in the wood being cut. I have used other brands of blades for the same work that cost a lot less. The video on HomeDepot shows the blade cutting wood embedded with lots of nails multiple times which is not the same outcome I received doing the same

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best for veneered plywood and smooth cross cuts, not the best all around For it's intended purpose, this blade is awesome. I use it to break down large sheets of (expensive) laminated plywood into smaller, more manageable sizes. For this purpose, the 40 tooth blade is amazing. Tear out is almost non existent; and that is without taping the cut or using a sacrificial backer board. Breaking down rough cut lumber is a different story. I actually purchased a 24 tooth blade for that. This blade will give you a bit of resistance compared to a lower tooth count blade, and you won't be able to power through the cut as fast. Since I am just rough cutting lumber to be prepared by my jointer, table saw, and planer, I do not need a mirror smooth cut. This blade is also holding up quite well. I have cleaned it a few times, but it is not dulling on me yet at all. In summary - buy this blade if you regularly cut veneered sheet goods, or require a nice, polished cross cut with little tear out. For simply breaking down lumber, general framing and construction work, a lower tooth count blade will give you better results and make you circular saw work a little easier.

Popped the blade in my saw, clamped everything into a square cut jig, cut about 1/4" of material and launched at least a half dozen teeth all over the shop. Normally love Diablo blades, but not this one.

You can take a cheap $50 saw and make it cut like butter with this blade. Very little tear out on plywood and hard woods. I use it mainly to get an edge on rough cut lumber and it does an excellent job. For the price you can't beat Diablo blades.

I had eight sheets of wet plywood to cut up for hurricane shutters, in a hurry. My old blade was bogging on the work. Got this Diablo 40Tooth blade because it was labeled for Wet Lumber. It worked effortlessly on my wet plywood, From now on, I buy only Diablo blades.

We were cutting conveyor belt material for Rubber Razors to complete a DES SOAK project for water diversion. We didn't know if the belt had metal fibers or not. The blade worked well. We will continue using it on future cuts.
