Diamond Crystal Solar Naturals Salt Crystals
I recently purchased a bag of Diamond Crystal Solar Naturals Salt Crystals. Diamond Crystal has been my product of choice for many years now. It consistently turns our hard water to soft. We recently had to replace our outdated system with a new more efficient water treatment system. Salt crystals work best it. Home Depot gives a better price for purchasing half a dozen bags at a time but I prefer to pick up one as needed to keep my system topped off. I have found that waiting till the whole tank gets low allows for less efficiency in the water treatment process. Or if you have the storage space you can still save and buy in bulk and keep you system topped off. I just don’t have the storage space to do that. It’s a great product that does it’s job well. I highly recommend it.

Best non chemically toxic weed killer around! I was looking for something other than Roundup and read on a few gardening sites that recommended soaking the salt in water then distributing it on water downed tilled soil. Presto! After a week, in a 15’ x 30’ yard, I only had a few sparse weeds looking for air! It took 6 bags of Diamond Crystal Salts and a couple days to do the job but I am one happy camper with the results!

I always used potassium chloride in my water softener in the past (as I am on a low sodium diet).
At $30.00 or so a bag for potassium chloride, I started using sodium chloride, after bypassing my softener for my drinking and cooking needs (still using my under counter carbon block water filter). 3 bags last about 6 months!

I have not issue with the salt. It is always of good quality. The only issue I have is that there seems to have been a change made to the handle on the bag and it is no longer strong enough to carry the bag. The last few times I have bought salt more 75% half of the handles have torn before I can get them into the basement.
