Help with my dilemna
I used this product throughout a whole mobile home in the Florida keys. It was put over existing 3/4 plywood and some new 3/4 plywood subflooring. I asked numerous HD employees in BoyntonBeach and Marathon, where I purchased the bulk of this, if I needed any type of moisture barrier the answer was always "no" Well here we are about 9 months after floor was completed I noticed the vinyl planking warping. There is no water leak, no roof leakand is center of mobile home. I pulled it up to inspect and it was covered in mold underneath. . I am taking up 192 square ft. I don't what went wrong and I certainly wouldn't cut corners. The few carpenters I asked couldn't explain. Note: Room was normally about 68degrees
