Hardly used a few times and the element burnt out…still under warranty but it’s a pain to replace...
Hardly used a few times and the element burnt out…still under warranty but it’s a pain to replace the element…called Dimplex, they are going to send a replacement element but it’s not easy to replace w/o hiring a electrician as it’s installed high up under the pergola…also most Importantly this product is being discontinued and Dimplex is launching a new series…hope it’s better built…I wish it lasted few years, got two of these going to return both unless Dimplex can “replace both units with the new model”. Felt like brought a product at the tail end of the lifecycle.

Very bad product, do not buy!
2 were installed by my backyard contractor. They didn't survive the first winter as water got into the electronics. I contacted support and they shipped replacement PCB boards which I got installed. Now the heaters don't turn on with the remote.

My wife was waiting soooo long for me to get a new infrared heater lamp. She is very happy that i got one.
So far so good. It works great . I mounted it on a high ceiling above our bed
We are like lizards basking in the heat.

heating element did not come on.
Three heaters installed. One heater did not fire up. Manufacturer could not offer any help in getting this item repaired or replaced. Very disappointed with this item. The wait online for dimplex was more than 45 minutes and then I had to get a call back. I rate this product low because you cannot get a new heater or parts for repair for months.

Easy install, great heater
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dimplex Indoor/Outdoor infrared heater is a a gorgeous heater that is easy to install. The heater heats up quickly and elevated the look of our patio with the design. I’m excited to try to automate the remote control with an infrared controller next to have it be able to be controlled via voice.
