Therefore the fault code you are referencing is not standardized across the entire line and is model and possibly even serial number specific. I would suggest you consult your manual to see what that code indicates. If you do not have it, I would suggest writing down the model and serial number. Based on that information you should be able to find a copy of the manual on the AO Smith web site. Once you identify what that fault code indicates you can pursue a resolution. You may also consider calling AO Smith’s tech line. Again they will want to know the specific and complete model and serial number as they appear on the units rating plate.
