Using this greenhouse heater can keep your plants from freezing during the colder months. The heater is a fan force heater that can provide a reliable and efficient heat source to your greenhouse plants. This greenhouse heater, permanently lubricated for life, uses a totally enclosed, thermally protected and heavy duty ball bearing motor that provides long life with very low maintenance required. It has a precision temperature sensor with a built-in over-heat protection, adjustable thermostat control, which allows you to create the best climate for your plants. Plus, this heater is equipped with heavy duty steel housing, an IPX4 structure that is protected against water splashing. It is sure to protect your tender plants from becoming a frosted, soggy mush and keep your young plants snug and warm until spring.

It a good portable heater. Note that the wattage will suck up alot of energy so keep an eye for your electric bill. Also before you purchase note that it is not a typical plug. It requires a NEMA 6-20R electrical outlet which is not your normal two vertical prong outlet. VERY important. luckily the area we use it for has the required outlet for use or else we would have been out of luck.

So far so good. Keeps a 10 foot wide, 10 foot long and 7 foot high greenhouse about 18 degrees warmer than the outside temperature of 24 degrees F . Not sure of the electrical consumption yet but hopefully it will not be too high. I set it to come on when the inside temperature of my greenhouse reaches approximately 45 degrees. It does shut off by itself when it is warmer than that. It has been in use about two months without problems. I have it plugged directly to an electrical plug. Not using an extension cord. The casing is hot to the touch on the left side when it has been on for a while

Bought this little heater for a super tiny outdoor portable greenhouse. In one month's use (March) coming on at night to keep the greenhouse from falling below 50*, it only ran up our electric bill by 40$. Ata little over a buck a day, I'll take it! Our nights have averaged around 30*, there were five nights the outside temp fell below 25* - I pulled stuff indoors and shut off the heater to save on my electric bill. The heater has kept the gh a steady temperature and no malfunctions in the thermostat. The gh gets quite humid, and it has persevered!

Ready to go out of the box and works well. Wish the thermostat was easier to identify temperatures, but it seems effective. Overall, pleased.
