What is the base depth and step in height?
From the back corner of the shower base to the outer rim of the shower base, the depth is approximately 37-5/8". The height of the curb for the shower base will be 2-3/4". Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!
Is this unit attached to studs or is it glued to the wall? I can't find the information in the details. I thought it would be included in the Installation Type, as most of the others are.
There is only one component of this kit that is installed to the studs and that is the SlimLine acrylic shower base. After you have installed the shower base to the studs, you will need to hang backer board (drywall). After the base is installed and the drywall is up, you will need to trim the panels to fit the space (instructions for this are provided in the install manual) and then glue them to the backer board with an acrylic-safe construction adhesive ("tub surround" adhesive). What drain do you recommend?

I have someone putting this in for me and he sent the following information dreamline 33'x33',16CFR1201-ii,ans1297.1-2015,can/cgsb12.1/m90,1/4 uasgcc3993. The shower door broke and I think we have to buy a complete kit. Is this the dreamline I need ?

The shower base that comes with this Prime shower kit is a 33x33" SlimLine quarter-round shower base. The glass enclosure will have smaller dimensions (approx. 31x31") so that the glass and hardware fit up onto the curbs of the shower base. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

What is the diagonal distance from corner to door opening?
The only specification that we provide that will be close to what you are asking for is the distance from the corner of the uninstalled base to the center of the radius (outside edge of the base). This measurement would be taken diagonally from the corner to the furthest point out which would essentially be like if you were cutting the base into 2 equal parts. Basically, this measurement represents the furthest point this shower base will stick out from the studs (the part where the rounded "belly" shape sticks out the most). What are the dimensions of the box(es) when I pick it up at Home Depot?
This will come on a pallet containing multiple boxes. The boxes containing the shower walls and shower enclosure will be the largest.
