For best results, insert the accessory bit all the way into the tool and then back it out slightly before tightening down. This provides plenty of shank for the collet or chuck to hold onto the bit.

    A:  You don't even need water. But this tool is for making Precision Cuts, like around faucet or Outlets, not for large amounts of cutting like you might need to do for a tile floor installation

        A:  If you want to trim a piece for a certain type of application yes. But to actually cut it I would use a wet tile saw

          Works Great for Outlets
          This worked well for L cuts around outlets doing a ceramic subway tile backsplash. Way easier than a cutoff wheel in my opinion. Used a tile scorer/breaker for all full length cuts, so this didn't get heavy use during the project. Also this tool is probably safer for a homeowner than using an angle grinder. We'll see if it lasts for future projects. 15,000 rpm and a slow steady motion worked well for me. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who owns a Dremel and is working on a wall tile project.

            Works great. I used it to make a cut out in a 1950's plaster over gypsum lath wall to accommodate an old work electrical box. No chipped crumbling edges! Just be sure to where a respirator and clean up thoroughly. This method will create dust. Lead and other airborne contaminants should be top of mind

            Perfect for fiberglass!
            I bought this to enlarge holes in a fiberglass boat where I could not reach with a normal power drill. I first drilled a 3 mm hole with my Dremel, then enlarged it to 6 mm with the 562.

              I used this bit to grind out a little bit...
              I used this bit to grind out a little bit of a ceramic tile from my backsplash in order to get the cover plate screws for my GFI on. Didn’t realize the GFCI screws were mounted on the top and bottle and didn’t take that in account when I cut the tile openings for the GFCI outlets. The screws were on the top and bottom not the middle like the regular outlets. In hindsight, I should have made the cut on the tile wider, however this bit made easy work out of grinding away what I needed without cracking the tile that had already been set and grouted. Definitely saved me from having to remove the tile.
