Great price but you get what you pay for.
So I have always wanted a dremel but could not afford one, then I found one , a cordless for cheap. Well the battery life is a disaster. I can maybe get 10 min use out of it not to satisfied with the product.
Small and simple, yet packs a powerful punch.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a couple of weeks to test out the 7300-N/5 and use it on several different projects around the house and in the workshop. Pros: After running the tool on high for quite some time while doing some sanding, I was pleasantly surprised by the battery life and how well it maintained it's charge. If you're familiar with Dremel's collets, you'll be happy to know that you can interchange any of your previously owned accessories or pick up a few specialized ones to get the job done. As a bonus, it does come with a few common accessories right out of the box to get you started. If you're new to Dremel or rotary tools, you'll be happy to know that with this tool they took the guesswork out of RPMs and made it simple to control with just a high or low setting. Lastly, I really like the feel of 7300-N/5 as it feels very balanced and comfortable in your hand. Cons: There is quite a bit of vibration on the high speed setting making me believe that using this tool for more than just a few minutes might prove to be a bit on the uncomfortable side. The plastic casing on the outside of the tool quite hard and I think a little softer material on the grip would really improve the feel. Although not a deal breaker, the power switch is a little sloppy when trying to turn the tool off and on. I found myself sliding it into the other speed on accident. Lastly, the product does not come with any sort of storage container for the tool or the accessories. Of course, this isn't a problem if you own any of Dremel's larger tools. If you're an advanced user, you might find being limited to 2 speeds to be a con. but with a tool this size, it really feels like it would be unnecessary to have more. Overall, I really like the Dremel 7300-N/5 and feel that the versatility of it will make it an indispensable tool in my workshop. The cons mentioned above would not deter me from purchasing it and I feel that for the price point, you can get a lot of work done with this handy compact tool.

      Nice little tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice tool, easy to use. Charged pretty quick. Full charge lasted me about an hour routing out letters in wood. Easy to control. Good starter bits.

        Quiet and easy to hold.
I love it. My dog is a little hard to handle while grooming. This is quiet and takes the nails down gently but quickly. So what was a chore is now a good experience for both of us. I liked the instructions it gave of how to get your dog used to the tool. I wish I would have bought this the first time!

I had struggled with clippers, for too long
I purchased the model used for grooming dog claws. I have two large German Shepherds and trimming their nails was a hassle, They did not like their nails trimmed with clippers, getting two 100lb dogs to sit still long enough tp trim 18 claws is a bit of work. But with the Dremel tool, sanding their nails down is quick and easy and only takes minutes. The tool is very quiet, so it does not scare the dog. No pain from dull clippers, and no cut quicks, to bleed all over the place. Well worth the price. Plus I can replace the sanding drums with a grinding stone and sharpen my lawn mower blade razor sharp.. Win/Win..!

              Great quality; BUT...
Typical great Dremel quality, but is way too fast even at its lowest setting for a dog nail grooming tool. Highly recommend this NOT be advertised for dog toenails.
                Great purchase
We had been trying to find a good tool for our dog's nails. This product works great we have a big pit bull and a small pomeranian. It works great on our pitbull with his big strong nails and is gentle enough for our little pomerenian

                  A little tough to maneuver
Since my pup squirmed a lot during his first experience, it's had to tell how well it worked. I will mark his nails with a dot of polish next time to see how much it takes off with a few passes. Bought it to save him scratching my hardwood floors so putting a lot of stock in this purchase.

                    Does the job!
This is my second Dremel. My first one finally quit after 12 years of continuous service. Love it compact size and the various attachments for all your projects.

                      Good but a few issues
It’s a good product, it works really well. The only two issues I have is the switch sometimes moves while I’m using it. Also if hair gets stuck in it , it doesn’t automatically stop like the non-pet Dremel does, you have to use the switch, which like I said, can be difficult. I had a situation where the dremel got caught in hair and wrapped all the way up to the skin. So you have to be very cautious and aware of hair while using it. I do wish I got the regular one instead but this one still works the same to grind the nails.
                        Works great!
We bought this so we could keep up with Stanley’s claws. He let us trim them easily. This Dremel is quiet and does just what it claims to do, and does it well….

Dogs tolerated it the very first time!
My dogs are 11+ yrs old. Nail trimming had become difficult as they aged. I was shocked at how well they accepted it. Made trimming a whole lot easier!

                            Love this thing
Got this for my older dog when he no longer let me clip his nails which have become thick. They grow so fast as well. I started to desensitize him gradually and with treats. I'm able to grind a little bit everyday and make huge progress. I would recommend this to everyone with a dog. And start when they are young.

                              bad battery life
bad battery life after very little use doesn't hold charge
Great solution for doing my Doberman's nails
This really helped with his nails. He does not like me cutting his nails and him being 130 lbs I needed and easier solution. This worked perfectly. He has always bleed when i cut his nails but with this it was very little.

                                    Perfect for dog nails.
This is the perfect tool to trim my Pitbulls nails, especially dew claws!
                                      Easy to use
This seems, so far, to be an exceptional tool with multi-functional properties/nomenclature. Since I only use it to pare down my own toenails, I found that the very coarse sanding circulars are a bit too much. I have old finer sanding circulars to put on this chuck that work great. I only hope Dremel makes and less coarse sander circular that work perfectly on my own toes. When I had a dog for many years, I got him used to it by just taking it near him and turning it on but not trimming. This done many times over a 2 week period made it easy for the dog to adapt.

Our 4 dogs gave in for the Dremel. Works great. Doesn't overheat. Just what we needed.

Reliable and comfortable to use on my dogs nails.
This is my second one. I had the first one for at least ten years and the battery no longer worked.

                                                    Excellent customer service!
I've had two pet Dremels, 7300PT, over many years which are great for stress free pet nail grooming. The battery for the most recent one didn't last very long and when I contacted Customer Service, they sent a new one to me. While I was waiting to hear back from Customer Service, I purchased another one to use. This is outstanding customer service from a company who cares about their reputation. Thanks Dremel!

                                                        Works great
I used this tool for the first time and it did the job great. I sanded my fur babies nails down for the very first time with very little effort. It wasn't loud and she sat through the whole process in one sitting.

                                                          Great for quick projects
Bought this for my grandson as a gift. I was impressed with it's performance therefore I bought one for myself. I have already used it for two small projects. The thing I like the best is it's portability. I don't have to worry about where to plug a cord into. Just carry to where I am working. I would suggest this for those small, quick projects. I have used a variable speed tool for over 30 years and this is a great addition to my Dremel line.
