Great for small jobs

It's light weight and easy to use. I like that's it's rechargeable and cordless. Easy to take with me.

Lots of power/torque

So, my honest review is... This tool is easy to hold, has a lot of power and the quick change parts are great! I have arthritis in my hands, so an easy to hold/use tool is a must for me.
The cons... The magnet that holds the screwdriver bits in place is too weak, and the bits fall off as one is trying to use the tool. The bit extender also does not stay in place but tends to fall off. That's a little frustrating.
The screwdriver has enough torque that it will twist in your hand as you are using it. That can also be a bit frustrating.
We used it on 3 vintage kitchen chairs that needed to be tightened up and even with all the screws, the tool had a lot of power left. Probably could have done 6 chairs with no problem.
I am going to recommend the screwdriver with the caveat to be careful with the bits and the extender.

Dremel HSES-01 Screwdriver
This is a small, slim, fast and powerful little tool. It comes with a USB charger and cable. I wanted to like this tool, but I don't. The first thing you notice after unpacking is the small printed message on the side "ONLY CHARGE WITH SUPPLIED DREMEL CHARGER 501". The U in USB stands for universal. If one can only use one charger, this is not real USB. Had this been printed on the outside of the box, I would not have bought this tool. The next big problem I have with this tool is the start control. There are two ways to start the tool. #1 is to press the driver bit against the screw. The tool will drive the screw instantly. #2 start system is a more conventional jog button. The problem with the first start system is the hair trigger, it is difficult to control. Just a light touch of the bit to the screw and this thing is going faster than one can blink an eye. Bad things happen when you have a premature start. I would prefer start method #2, however that is not an option because start method #1 has messed every thing up before one has a chance to push the button. I own other Dremel products and they all work well. This HSES-01 Screwdriver does not work well at all. I give it 2 out of 5 stars. 2 stars because Home Depot took it back with no hassle. I like the store, but not this product.
