[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it. It is perfect for a lady to have her own saw to build her own stuff out of 2x4's and more. I have used it to cut paneling, 2x4, 2x6. skirting around the buildings, dowels, It is my saw and the boys are not allowed to touch it. This little saw is building my sewing studio. (:

Lightweight metal cutter or tile cutter!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can use this all day without discomfort due to the saw's small size, love it for cutting travertine, or sheet metal parapet coping, easy to use!

Saw-Max is my new favorite!
WOW, I LOVE THIS THING! Took a bit to get used to the drive, but what a handy little saw! Easily cut through 3/4” subfloor, (like butter), and I actually cut the little octagonal opening for the flange while holding plywood in one hand, Saw-Max in the other. It was the last one on the shelf, so it was my lucky day!

I needed to cut a long piece of molding and using a circular saw was out of the question. I purchased the Dremel Saw for this purpose to complete my wood interlocking accent wall. It was perfect for the job and glad that I made the decision to purchase it.

I purchased this to help me cut and install laminate flooring as well as cut out some bad sub floor. I hope to use it for other applications as well. For the laminate, it worked well to cut through the flooring. I was able to cut and install an entire 16x16 room on one blade. The blades are easy to change with the supplied hex wrench. The marks on the guard make it easy to line up to make a straight cut. The guard is adjustable for depth as well. The saw does seem to get really dirty with sawdust but this didn’t seem to bother the motor or the operation of the saw. It does get fairly warm with prolonged use.

Great saw, can fit into small corners well. The wood blade dulls easily on laminate, but new blades are relatively inexpensive.

A very handy tool for home use
The Dremel 6A Saw Max Tool is a very handy tool that can be used to cut different types of material.
Size & Design:
The size and weight of this saw are reasonable and allow handling with ease. The tool is well designed and fits in your hand like a glove. This allows you to cut with confidence.
Power:
This saw is corded (runs on 110V) and the cord length is approx 6ft. The tool is powerful enough for most home projects.
Quality:
The tool feels sturdy and of good quality. It comes with a 2 year warranty which gives me more confidence and assurance. I have had it for a few days only and I cannot comment on its durability.
Test:
My first test of this saw was to cut an opening in drywall (check the pics). Cutting was a breeze but it produced an unbelievable amount of dust, whereas a cleaner job could've been performed using a manual jab saw / drywall saw. Of course this was just a test so it doesn't matter, but something to keep in mind if you plan to cut through drywall in a furnished home.
What's in the box:
My saw came without a case for storage/transportation. I also received only two wheels: one for metal and one for wood/plastic. The picture of the product on the HD site shows two more wheels: one for tile and one multipurpose. This could just be because I received this product through the Seeds program. I received no other accessories.
