I haven't found it to work well on backer board. A combination metal/wood works better for outlets and fine work.

More than likely. It depends on the way your blade mount is shaped. Most blades these days SHOULD have a universal fit.

These grout removal blades saved me tons of time and effort removing the tiles from my fireplace surround and hearth. I can't comment on the overall longevity of the blades usefulness as the project I used it for was quite small. This blade had no problem cutting through the grout though using my Dremel Multi-Max Velocity tool. I have never had a bad product from Dremel so far and still they continue to impress me.

The product helped to cut out wonderboard that was already hung in order to install a custom niche in a shower . The only problem I had was that I had to stop too far from the corners (which was tiled )of the cutout . It Needs a point to get closer to the right corner

Not all oscillating tools use the same atachments.
I bought this thinking they fitted every oscillating tool, wrong! To make matters worse I thought a little modification would make it fit, it didn't. That meant I couldn't return it so I wasted $39.
