This was a bit of a disappointment. It is described as ergonomic but really isn’t any different than my other caulk gun. It also lacks the top-clipper and pin to open the caulk tubes. Less functionality makes it less useful.

I returned this for the ETS 2000 model because it didn’t have a seal puncture or the tip cutter. Too basic.

Did the job in record time. No smoothing with fingers, water, etc. Inside and out. Nothing like the right tools. Worth the extra cost, for sure!

This gun was very hard to use. I ended up having to borrow a different caulk gun from my father to get the job done. I bought it because it advertised that it was good for small hands so I thought it would be good for a woman. I would not recommend this product.

    Smooth Action, Comfortable, High quality
This is a lightweight caulk gun that seems perfect for even the smallest hands. This holds the typical size caulk or adhesive and requires little pressure to squeeze the trigger, so its great for even the weakest of hands or those with arthritis. I like there is no mechanical release on the plunger, that all you have to do is pull back on the rod to release pressure, since there is no ratcheting action, its all smooth. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I believe this is lacking 2 features I would like to see. One is a piercing rod to break the tube seal. Without one requires another tool or nail on hand to break the seal. I would also like to see a belt hoop on it as well. Thus 4 stars over 5. After using it on a different materials the tube does allow extra material to seep out once the trigger is released. I find myself pulling back on the rod taking pressure off the tube to stop this. This is easier to do then the ratcheting type, just pull and it keeps it position. Overall this is an excellent choice for a caulk gun.
