The Wheelchair and Scooter Ramp by Drive Medical is designed for transitioning a wheelchair or scooter from one surface height to another. The durable, folding, lightweight construction allows for the ramp to be easily transported in its carry bag. This ramp was especially designed with perforated slots to keep water from collecting on the ramp and ensuring users safety while in use. This 2 ft. L x 28.5 in. how much weight will ramp hold

Totally capacity 600 pounds on this if your mother had a 400 pound wheelchair it will be more capable but as for me I'm 360 and using the scooter so it would be uncomfortably close to the limit look for something that had about 100 more pound weight limit

Can this be used for one step?

If you mean a step that is 8 or 9 inches high I would say no. We use this to put on the porch at the front doorway to roll my 200# brother in his wheelchair over the 2 1/2” step-up threshold and into house. I love this thing! It’s lightweight but strong. It folds up easily and has a carrying bag. It’s not that big when folded and not very heavy.

Is this ramp ADA approved

No: Too Steep. 1 ft of ramp for every inch of rise is slope of wheelchair ramp.

DOES ANY STORE IN S. FLORIDA HAVE THIS NOW. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE BEFORE BUYING.

This is a great product. My parents are so happy with this little ramp that serves a big purpose. My dad uses all; cane, walker and chair as his strength varies from week to week. This ramp is wonderful because lifting his feet and legs is difficult but walking up the ramp with the cane or walker is much easier for him. It is also durable and strong enough for the motorized chair. The surprising thing is how easy it is to pick up and fold up. Takes about a second and then put it in the nice case and he can go visiting or anywhere else he wants to go. This is the small one, good for a normal size step like the front door. I think if you have varying degrees of steps; higher ones, you will need one of the longer versions. You can screw this into your threshold if you want to make it permanent. We like the portability of it so for now, this is perfect for him and we all recommend it highly. Sturdy and strong and easy to carry!
