Weather Defender SUV Semi-Custom Cover Fits up to 15 ft. 5 in.

Simply put, I cannot believe this cover fit over my light bar and ski / luggage racks on the hardtop roof of my ‘94 YJ! They add a foot of additional height, yet the cover was able to come down over the front bumper, back bumper guards, and side steps. If you don’t have custom stuff on the top of your Jeep, it will simply go deeper underneath and be even more secure. Also comes in its own storage bag made of the same breathable yet water resistant material presumably for wet storage, and grommeted holes on the left and right bottoms for your bungee cord or anti-theft cable and lock. Home run product thus far.

I wish the description did not say this is a SUV cover. It does not fit a Jeep Wrangler, which is 167” long nor my SUV. It is however a pretty well made cover if you have the correct size. The material is breathable so water can dry easily. The instructions caution you not to pull or it can tear and tear easily it did! Other reviewers have correctly stated, measure your car before you try to put it on to ensure you buy the correct size!!! Other than that the material, the design, and the fit would do well.

Don't be fooled by the word SUV. You must measure or look up the specs on your car to ensure a proper fit. The word SUV is rather misleading for my car is small SUV, a Honda CR-V. I am not aware of any SUV that is only 13-1/2 feet long. Height wise the SUV description does fit, just double check your vehicle's length. The materiel and cover look great but it can rip very easily. Even though it did barely fit my car it would be better to buy a slightly larger size than what you actually need, doing so will allow you to cover your car with more ease. There is a bungee in the front and rear section to help wrap the cover around and under the front and rear bumpers. be sure to clear any license plate and other rough or sharp edges or the cover may/will rip/snag on these edges. It is recommended to reinforce the cover or place some 'cushion' on the rough edge locations to help prevent the cover from tearing. There are direction and a patch for covering a vehicle with a radio antenna that is not removable. so you should have no issues if that is your situation. just take your time to get the right location before cutting a hole to ensure that the hole is in the most optimum location. Overall this is a descent car cover with a classy design (racing stripes) and I would buy another one when this is no longer usable but just a longer/larger size for sure.

This may fit a sub mini SUV like a kia soul but it will not fit a jeep Wrangler because the wrangler is 3 inches longer than this cover not including the spare tire. I have a 2004 Jeep liberty and it is to long for this cover and my neighbors new Honda HRV is smaller than my Jeep and it will not fit that either. They also claim that the cover has Soft fabric that won't scratch your paint surface but it is more like a tarp or one of those reusable semi fabric grocery bags. I can see using this as a tarp to cover lawn furniture or maybe a four wheel ATV but I would not put this on my car since it really is not that soft and would definitely make very fine scratches on the paints surface. If you are not a real car fanatic then this cover would suit you but I find that most people who cover there cars a real fanatics and use the softest materials to polish the paint on their cars and would never allow a material like this to come in contact with their car.

The "WEATHER DEFENDER SUV SEMI-CUSTOM COVER " is a good cover. I am using it on my 12'-0" boat and it fits great! I have had bad luck with covers not lasting another season and I am hoping that this one works and keeps working. They always tend to deteriorate after one season. This one states that it is All Weather Resistant. We will wait and see. It is very light wait but feel strong. with the elastic bottom and hold downs this should work thru the winter.

The seam failed on it within a week

Does not fit my Cadillac SRX. Tired of buying crap in your stores made in china.

Thick enough to have the necessary weight to stay on the car and not easily be blown away. Doesn't leave scratches. Truly waterproof.
