A:  Using a dehumidifier could be a good way to reduce excess moisture in the laundry room.

A:  This unit is designed to keep the lint from going into a room but the heat from the dryer will still be present.

A:  Please remember that this product it not to be used with gas dryers.

A:  No, heat will radiate a little along the length of the tube, but what is left over blows out as warm, moist air.

A:  It allows the heat to dissipate into the room, without blowing lint around. Just add a bit of water, to trap any lint that gets past the dryer filter.

A:  This is no different than having the dryer hooked to vent outside, when you stand outside you feel warm air. The only difference is that you have it inside.Which is nice to have the floor above have the warm air, since warm air rises. I hope this helps! Hope

A:  You half fill the bottom with water.

A:  You only fill it to the water line about half, any more than that it will blow water all over.( it's more of where the ridge is inside)

A:  I would not recommend doing so without first checking with the manufacturer.

A:  I suppose you could, but it would get expensive. You have to flush the water out fairly frequently, as it gets loaded up with lint. I'd recommend just put water in it when using the dryer. After running the dryer, dump the bucket in the toilet, leave it empty, then put water in again only when ready to use the dryer again. Overall, these things are kind of marginal. They trap some lint, but by no means all. So you have to balance the hassle of the water in these with just vacuuming the garage more often.

A:  I don't see any reason why not - I and scented oils to my water for a fresh smell while my clothes dry.

A:  When you vent through a liquid you vaporize a certain amount of the liquid. As most antifreeze solutions contain some toxic chemicals its pretty likely you would be putting some of those same chemicals into the air in that space. Probably not a good idea.
