      Can DuraDecor Classy Chic be installed over a sheet vinyl floor?

      Hello SueB - thank you for your inquiry. Yes - the DuraDecor Classy Chic rigid core LVT can be installed over the top of sheet vinyl. As long as the sheet vinyl is full spread adhesive and not cushion back. Cushion back sheet vinyl is typically installed with a perimeter type adhesive pattern.         Beautiful and easy to install
        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With all the benefits the flooring offers, you can't go wrong. It is dent resistant, looks like real wood at a much more affordable cost and improves the look of your floor. It was so easy to install and I must state- this was our first attempt ever installing any flooring. It installs easily for novices. Very few tools are needed. I read the directions and watched some videos first. I am thrilled at how beautiful it looks. It changed the feel of my room, the light blonde color gives a light, cheery feel. All I can say, is love it and now want to replace all the flooring in the house with it.

          Such a beautiful blonde wood flooring
          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This duradecor classy Chic Broadway flooring is just so beautiful. The planks simply snap into place and seem quite easy to clean. We have coming to cut our pieces down for us properly. If this is as smooth to add into the bathrooms, then we want to do the closet in this color to help brighten the area so we can see things better. Beautiful color, texture, assembly, clean up and overall quality.

            Has a natural wood look and feel
            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have installed vinyl flooring many times before. This is the first time I’ve installed flooring that looked and felt like wood but is vinyl. This does not have a shiny clear coating on the top. When you touch it, you can actually feel the wood texture. It has a nice underlayment that is attached to the vinyl so you do not have to buy extra underlayment. This is easy to install and easy to cut. it is made with HDC and has a 12-mil wear protection. The flooring is soft to walk on as you would expect for vinyl flooring compared to tile.

              Tiles look great Too many damaged
              About 10-15% of my tiles were damaged. The locking edges were bent or broken. Thankfully I ordered the 10% additional. Appearance of floor once in place looks nice. I hope it holds up

                Weak locking mechanism on short side
                I've installed other lvt before. It was much less expensive yet had a thicker wear layer and better embossing. But the worst part about this stuff is that it just won't click together properly on the short side. The long side is great, but the short side required so much force to get it right that it often broke. And sometimes, without hardly any force applied at all, it would break. Look somewhere else.

                Hello Chris - first of all, thank you for sharing your review. Secondly, we apologize for your less than desirable satisfaction with the installation of the DuraDecor Classy Chic LVT. The locking mechanism on our planks is called or referred to as "angle / fold & tap". Long side angles into previous row and the short engages by folding down and tapping into the previous piece. This can be done using a rubber mallet or a dead-blow hammer. If during the installation you needed to make adjustments, the short side would need to slide apart to disengage the locking mechanism. Other LVT products use a "angle / angle" method. This method will not work on our planks. Again, we apologize for the issues you encountered. Thank You - DuraDecor

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel in love with this floor from the panel sample. I wanted to do a last DIY before school let back in from the summer. After prepping the area and with some help from my friends, putting down the floor was as simple as aligning the panels and clicking them to fit into each other. The finish on the panels is smooth and matt. I enjoy the look of this flooring in this space. The color is compatible with any color theme you can imagine. I look forward to all the decoration that is to come in this space.

                    Great Flooring

                        Beautiful, tough floor
