can this be installed over a vinyl sheet floor in good condition? What adhesive do you recommend
Hello bobc and thank you for your question. The DuraDecor Glue Down LVT flooring can not be installed over the top of existing sheet vinyl. If your subfloor is concrete, we would first recommend taking up the sheet vinyl, and pouring a cemtitious floor leveling/patch compound to make sure that the subfloor is completely level. If you have a wood subfloor, we would recommend installing a 1/4" underlayment grade plywood over the top to ensure proper adhesion. Then make sure it's clean, smooth, dry, and free from any debris. We would recommend using a pressure sensitive adhesive that is recommended for glue down vinyl flooring. Hope this helps answer your questions. Thanks again for choosing DuraDecor.
