A:  Hello Dave66 and Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. The batteries may be located in several areas of the store and each store may be a little different. Some of them are not available in the store and only as Ship to Home or Ship to Store. If they are available at your local store, you could look on the website, once you choose your store from the upper left hand corner. If they are available at the store, the website will show you the aisle and bin number. If it doesn't show those, they may not be available at the store.     A:  If it has lasted for 2 years in a lock that is used multiple times daily why would you not replace it with the same. I buying these Duracell batteries for my Schlage lock because they are high quality batteries.

          A:  They guarantee for 5 years ... so you're good up through Sept 2024 at least.

            A:  Each package will display the expiration date for that batch. Home Depot stock is constantly rotating so you'll find that the expiration dates will change but usually you'll be covered for several years at a minimum in my experience.

            In my opinion, Duracell batteries are the best. I previously used inexpensive, 3 volts, $1 batteries in smoke alarms. However, those batteries quickly lose their charges whether they detect smoke or not. (After a few months, testing them produces no sound.) Although Duracell batteries are likely the most expensive batteries, for certain devices essential.

            incorrect details on HD website. Only good for 5 years according to packaging.
            This SKU on home depot website shows 10 year guarantee. But when i ordered this product online and went to pick it up in store, they gave me the one with only 5 year guarantee. I asked the HD associate for a 10 year battery showing them what i ordered online. She checked into the system and told me that HD only sells 5 year one and that is the only SKU being shown in the system. What a waste of the trip. I could have ordered the 5 year batteries on amazon and have them delivered the same day.
