How difficult is the assembly? How long does it take?
Asked by: Leni
I do believe the last time I checked in March 2018 all the Home Depot stores offered free assembly. Roll it right off the floor into your truck. They always have many models already assembled in the store. And about the other question, does it come with a propane tank - NO it doesn't. If this is an upgrade for you, you should already have a tank. I also believe Home Depot will take away your old one, if they should delivery this item to your home.

We even purchased the suggested cover as well. The cover was very flimsy and ripped shortly after we used it only a few times. The grill was pretty good in the beginning until this year. The drip tray - like all the other 1 star reviews say, rotted away and is no longer usable, as did the drip cup. Sure the manufacturer will tell you that you can purchase replacement parts but that would cost a grand total of $125.91 for us- that would be for 4 new heat tents, 2 grates, and new drip tray, drip cup and new plastic foot that didn't even make it 2 weeks. That's almost the price of a brand new grill!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value, gets hot enough I found the instructions to be excellent, took me about an hour to build myself (I am mechanically inclined). All bolts with welded nuts, no self self-tapping screws (except 2 for the tank hose support). With 4-12,000 btu burners this grill gets hot enough to really sear food. Over the past 40+ years I have always had the big “W” grills but I did not want to spend 4X the amount on a 3-burner model. Plus, I don’t like their non-competitive pricing structure which is worse than buying a Rolex watch. I have cooked fish, steaks, Rack of Lamb, sausages, potatoes, asparagus all with excellent results. Excellent value would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Grill I've always used a charcoal grill and this is my first gas grill. It took awhile for my team of workers (my son, grandson and myself) to put the grill together but it was actually easy to assemble. It came with all of the necessary parts and hardware and a wrench for a couple of nuts/bolts.We added a battery powered drill which made quick work of part of the assembly. Once we got it assembled we lit it and got the air out of the burners/lines so it would light correctly each time and then we ran it for a while to burn off any oil, etc. After that we let it cool, cleaned it and then did NY strip steaks. Oh boy, am I a convert to a gas grill!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for the price This is my 5th grill. The one I was replacing was a father's day gift that was mostly stainless and likely very expensive. My problem is that my climate causes everything to rust out in about 5 years. An expensive grill does not seem to last any longer than an inexpensive grill, so I just buy a new one every 5 years or so. I wanted something inexpensive, light, 4 burners and easy to assemble. This grill fit the bill. Assembled it by myself in less than an hour and fired it up to cook off any contaminates like oils, etc. Bottom line . . . . I love it, and loved the price. This grill does everything the last one did for less than half the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Grill so far Finally broke down and purchased a grill after continuing to receive home depot gift cards explicitly for putting towards a grill. The price was right during Memorial Day weekend, and Home Depot assembled the grill for free. I'm by no means a grill master, however my first two uses produced wonderful results. I don't know -- maybe this is the norm since I haven't grilled in so long and frankly can't remember -- but we were very happy with the flavors of the food (cedar planks on order for the salmon!) The cleaning afterwards was expected and not too difficult. Hopefully this lasts for several years ... quite pleased so far. So, I guess the best way to show how happy I am is with a couple of pictures of how the food turned out.

This is a nice inexpensive grill. assembled in about an hour, pretty clear instructions. I have used it for about a month or so now and it works well. Haven't noticed any "hot spots" so far so it has cooked evenly across the grate surface. For the price I might have given it 5 starts actually but although the bottle open could be useful it lacked any hooks or other way to hold cooking utensils, not a big deal as i added some simple method of my own, (see pics) Overall i expect a number of years use mainly for burgers and dogs etc as I prefer my charcoal/wood smoker for real BBQ

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great grill for the money This is an excellent grill for the money. It warms up very fast and gets very hot when set on preheat you can sear a steak no problem, it also grills delicate foods on the low setting without burning. The temperature range from high to low is very impressive. It has plenty of room to cook a decent amount of food. I have found throughout the years that the expensive grills don't last much longer than the inexpensive ones. I attached a pic of some sausage I "broke" the grill in with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For the price Great buy Don't listen to the nay sayers. For the price it's a great buy. Yeah the assembly is kinda complicated but they offer in store assembly (oh btw my girlfriend put it together so can't be that hard). For the lighting of grill, most probably aren't following the directions. Of course it's not going to light up right away, you need to turn burners on high gas for a few SECONDS before using auto light. But overall the price can't be beat. I saw more expensive grills that have less surface area, less burners, and/or no side tray(s). You get the most for your buck with this buy. And fyi my t-bone came out evenly cooked and was one of the best if not the best steak I've ever ate.
