Q:Why causes the vacuum to keep shutting off? I have cleaned the filter and charged it. Now it keeps shutting off. I just punch it ag� and it starts and runs for a while befit shuts off again. Is the button broken?

Design flaw with the wall mount
I bought the V10 animal and I love it. Great suction on middle power setting and the battery holds a charge well. Live the convenience of a wall mount that keeps it charged at the same time. My only complaint is the wall mount doesn't hold all the accessories. I'm not happy about having two extra accessories that have no place to attach to the wall mount.

Unbelievable ! Cleaning machine
I bought this 6/27/22 and let me just say holy moly!!! This is my second dyson - first is dyson outsize+ .. let me just say this suction on this bad boy is unreal ! I went over a carpet that probably hasn’t seen a vacuum in 6+ months and just did 3 passes straight line and O M G. Excuse me but you would’ve thought you vacuumed up a bag of sand! And I mean it!! An amazing vacuum for me and my new apartment - I’m truly in love.

Good Vacuum (V10 Animal), but not worth the price
I bought the Dyson V10 Animal a few weeks ago, and like all Dyson products it works really well. I love the bin release feature, and the battery lasts as long as I’d expect it to last. The suction is great for a lightweight, handheld vacuum, with one exception: it doesn’t vacuum the carpets in my car very well. The bin is small, so you won’t pick up much dirt and dust before you have to empty the canister. As for the price, it’s a bit steep Compared to other Dyson products with more power, and I wish I had purchased a Dyson big ball model. It’s a good vacuum, but I’d wait until the price drops before throwing your money at this model. (How is use it: I have a 1,000 square foot carpeted condo with tile bath and kitchen. I own a 50 pound dog who is a seasonal shedder. I vacuum twice a week).

Perfect for pet owners!!!
When our DC33 wore out, we purchased the V10 Animal. Until we used the V10 Animal for the first time, we didn’t realize just how badly our DC33 had been functioning. The DC33 had been picking up surface dirt and a little pet hair, but definitely not all of it.
Our DC33 was a great vacuum, and we are expecting the same with the V10 Animal. We are quite pleased with our purchase. We’ve vacuumed our whole house with the V10, and it’s amazing how much dirt, pet hair and carpet fuzz it picked up! We have two dogs and a cat that generate quite a bit of loose fur during shedding season; the V10 picked all the fur up without a problem.
As far as the charge goes, we were able to vacuum our whole downstairs and the stairs on one single, full charge of the V10’s battery. There is still enough charge left to vacuum our upstairs, too. That’s a great feature for a 3,000+ square foot house.
We definitely recommend this vac for people with pets. It does a fantastic job of getting up the dirt/fur/hair/carpet fuzz!

Great suction in a lightweight vacuum!
I was looking for a lightweight vacuum that would be easy to use yet not compromise on cleaning power. This Dyson model definitely fits the bill and then some. The vacuum not only is cordless and holds a full charge up to 60 minutes, but it really has quite the suction so it quickly and easily picks up dirt, pet dander, etc. I highly recommend this great cleaning tool for your home as it is the only vacuum you will ever need. Imagine saying good-bye to your full-sized, corded vacuum for good!

Great suction but small bin. With 3 cats, I had to dump after each room. Biggest problem for me was had to hold down trigger to operate and that was more than my hands could handle. Never dreamed it wouldn’t have an on/of switch. Big fan of dyson but had to return this one.
