A:  Yes, the v7 filters can be replaced.

As it stands, there isn't an option to lock the cordless unit's trigger in the on position like a corded vacuum would function. Please be assured, we chose a light-touch trigger over an on/off switch to ensure that battery life is never wasted by letting the machine run when it's not in active use. A:  You need to hold the button down each time you want to use it. It’s great for quick pick ups. The button is in a convenient spot and very light pressure is needed.

A:  Yes, the button must be pressed but it takes no real effort.

A:  You have to hold it down

A:  It has to be held down 

A:  Do not leave your Dyson continually plugged into the charger... ours stopped working. Unplug it, give it a rest, and remember to unplug it as soon as it is charged. Also, do not always run it on max power.

A:  Sorry I don't live in Florida . Vaccum should be plugged in side your house not in a garage. Lynne

A:  Hi there Fred, this is Tia from Dyson. With regard to the V7 Motorhead, please keep in mind heat sources, such as radiators, can damage the battery. We recommend that you store your vacuum at temperatures between 18°C–28°C, away from direct sunlight and out of utility closets. The battery is covered under the machine's warranty and is expected to last the life of the unit, as long as the machine is being used in accordance with your user guide.
