Q:The motor keeps cutting out every 2-3 seconds. it does this when it's blocked but I can't see any blockage.�If it is the filter, how do you clean the filter? Wash it with water?

A:  Hi there, this is Tia from Dyson. The blockage could be caused by a dirty filter or even debris blocking the cyclone, which sits inside of the dirt canister. In addition to ensuring the openings in the cyclone are completely unblocked by wiping with a dry cloth or using a soft brush, you can also wash your filter. The V8 Origin model has two filters, one cone-shaped filter at the top of the cyclone that pulls up and out and one on the end cap that you twist to remove. Both can be washed under cold tap water, gently each with your hands. Don't use detergents. Give them a through rinse under the water to remove the dirt. Then shake out and allow to dry for at least 24 hours or until completely dry before placing back into machine. Don't dry in a tumble dryer, microwave or near a naked flame.     A:  Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. That would totally vary, depending on how long you use the machine with each use, and which suction mode you are using. MAX mode will provide you with a boost of suction and about 7 minutes of run time on a full charge. Regular suction will give you up to 40 minutes of run time, 30 when using a motorized floor tool. If you use the machine in regular mode for 10 minutes, you can leave the machine to use another 20 minutes or so on another day, without needing to recharge it. If you were relocating to another region, or a country with 220V outlets, you can purchase a charger in that country, to safely use/charge your cord-free vacuum.           I bought this on Black Friday sale.
          I bought this product on big sale .It was under $300.00. So I don’t have any complaints. Very light wight and easy to use, setup charger at storage. Everything is good for me. We have been using “Dyson ball “ more than 3 years. It’s still works well. But it’s heavy for me and not cordless vacuum. I am very happy to use everyday.
