Eastman's Heavy-Duty Full Port Ball Valve is lead free and suitable for all potable water supply installations. This ball valve is constructed of heavy duty brass for durability and strength. The valve includes a lever handle and is full port for maximum flow and minimum pressure drops.

      Q:This valve is listed as IPS connection type, and I see an identical looking valve listed as FPT connection type. They both have threaded female connections on each end. So what's the difference, if any?

        Q:What does the PE in the IPS PE designation mean? Can this valve be used as an outdoor, residential water supply cut off valve, connected to galvanized pipe?

        A:  Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It should be 3/4 inch IPS x 3/4 inch IPS. We will work with Home Depot to get this corrected. The ball valve is lead-free compliant and will connect to galvanized piping.
