No. None I know of. Echo does make a mode that extends.
If you are asking what the unit weighs, it is about 12lbs. It is balanced so that the majority of the weight is in the engine and not in the cutting head. This makes it easy to use. I use mine more than my regular chainsaw as the reach allows me to get into areas without having to be close to branches and logs falling.
To Bob (and anyone else) to consider, while I can't address your question specifically for the Echo gas-powered polesaw, I did have a 2.5-inch dirty water pump used to water rural fruit trees in the summer which had a surprisingly similar symptom. After trying everything I knew and still no start on a less than 3-yr. old Briggs and Stratton pump with NO start at all, I took it to a nearby small engine repair shop who diagnosed that the automatic oil level sensor had failed. The technician said it would never start without replacing the sensor which would likely be expensive, so he simply unplugged it (I just din't know WHICH wire exposed to the outside of the engine to unplug, of course), and the pump started right off, he said! I had taken that pump to the country THREE times to try to get it to start because you have to have the pump intake full of water when the engine starts or you might cavitate and destroy the pump. Live and learn! You might try the same trouble-shooting with your Echo polesaw. I haven't consulted my polesaw manual to even see IF such a malady is covered, but a I would think common sense trouble-shooting/expreimentation might be in order before taking the polesaw to a small engine shop. I WOULD be curious to know what you learn. Good luck with a solution.

Hi BB! Thank you for your inquiry. The ECHO Power Pruners do not feature an additional handle as an accessory.
Piece of garbage dont buy it
I have cut 8"- 9" dead oak limbs with no problem at all. The trick is to let the saw do the work and not apply a lot of pressure with full throttle. It takes about 15 seconds per limb.
