A:Â Hi Franceso, Thanks for choosing the ECHO 120 MPH 450 CFM 58-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Leaf Blower - 2.0 Ah Battery and Charger Included CBL-58V2AH. You will need a 220 to 120 volt adapter or rewire the receptacle or install a new receptacle next to the old one and connect it to the 220-volt wiring. We recommend using a certified electrician for the rewiring process. I hope this helps and thanks for asking! - Eve

A:Â Worst purchase ever..have had 2 batteries fail in first 4 months..and replacement costs as much as the blower..
by|May 25, 2020
A:Â The same thing happened to me. I had to contact the company, it comes with a 5 yr warranty, and they sent me a replacement battery and charger. The blower now works fine. Another thing you could do is to contact the company for your local certified repair dealer and take it there along with your receipt and they will check it out and handle the replacement parts if necessary.

A:Â Yeah the batteries are horrible. My first one died in first 2 weeks...they sent me a replacement which lasted maybe a month..by then I'd lost the receipt and refused to buy another battery. So disappointed with this purchase. Return it while you can.

A:Â I have had this blower and the string trimmer that uses the same batter for 2.5 years. I have never had a battery take longer than 2 hours to fully charge. I would remove the battery from the charger, re-insert it, making sure it's fully seated, and if it's not fully charged in a couple of hours, contact the manufacturer or return it.
by|Oct 22, 2019
A:Â Remove the battery and unplug the charger. Then plug back in and charge. It's happened to me before.
by|Oct 22, 2019
A:Â Try using it and then charging again or taking it out of the charger and placing it back in. I have had this happen on occasion and it remedies the issue.

I have had two Echo gas-powered leaf blowers and each was terrific. I was recently in Home Depot and noticed this store had a few of these Echo battery-powered leaf blowers on clearance so bought one to see how it compared to the gas powered ones. It only took a couple of minutes to unpackage and read the included instruction sheet. Upon depressing the battery gauge button I noticed the 58v battery had two out of four bars lit so I put the battery on the charger for about an hour. When I checked the battery gauge button to see if it had charged it had charged more it still read two bars. I proceeded to leave the battery overnight on the charger and checked on it in the morning, still two bars. So, I figured I would give the leaf blower a try and ran the motor for a bit blowing some small piles of leaves and debris off my front yard and into a pile. Then I put the battery back on the charger and this time heard the charger fan kick on and the the flashing light went from red to green. The battery charged to full in about an hour and ready to give it a real try. The leaves have pretty much all fallen and most all have already been blown and the yards cleaned up, but I wanted to see what this blower could do. The leaf blower is a slightly lighter than my PB-251 gas blower but part of that could be due to the shorter blower tube which is a bit stubby in my opinion. I also noticed that this cordless leaf blower has a rather large opening, about 3.25 inches, at the end of the tube which seems to diminish the effectiveness of the claimed 450cfm and making blowing much less concentrated and requiring me to keep the motor at full speed the entire time. While I have not drained a battery from full charge I have run it for about 7-8 minutes at full speed and that took the battery down about 1.5 bars. I read other reviews of getting 30 minutes out of a full charge at full speed but I am skeptical. I believe it would be closer to about 20-25 minutes to completely drain a fully charged battery, but that would be enough to do most if not my front and rear yards except during the fall when I can blow leaves for what seems like forever. This leaf blower came with the 58 volt - 2AH battery. I'm sure if it came equipped with the 4AH battery, which comes with the Echo cordless mower, it would be able to tackle most all leaf blower chores for small to average lot sizes. Unfortunately, the town that I am moving to has outlawed gas-powered leaf blowers so I may have no choice but to use a cordless battery-powered leaf blower so will be keeping this one. Just wish the tube would narrow down to a smaller opening, perhaps around 2 inches like my gas-powered blower which makes it feel quite a bit more powerful. I may see if I can modify some ABS or PVC tubes and joints to see if that helps.

Only wish is that it was a bit lighter and less bulky.

Powerful and easy to hold
I bought this Echo in the summer in prep for the fall leaves of which I have many. It is easy to put in the battery and takes little time to charge it. I keep the charger in my laundry room near the back door. The battery life does not fully last for all my work in the back yard but it is great for doing small jobs like the deck and around the hot tub. It would be nice to come with a back up battery so they can be changed out. I use my Toro for longer jobs. For me the benefit is that it is powerful and cordless. The nozzle fits in the battery space when the battery is charging making storage easy. I recommend it and would buy it again if I needed another one.

I love this blower. It performs as well as my gasoline model and has good battery life. The only improvement would be to sell it with the 4 Ah battery. It's quiet and doesn't bother neighbors. I have a big driveway and can sweep it, sidewalk, porches, patio and garage easily on a charge.
