Great Chainsaw
This little guy packs a big punch. By far my favorite Echo Chainsaw I have owned. Pros pretty light weight, strong. Cons: runs hot, and had to return mine at the store due to a bad tension for the bar guide. A issue i ran into with another echo the cs-490

CS-355T Can I get my money back?
Bought a month ago. Just has no power, compared to my stihl ms200t. Also not to crazy about the design of the muffler melting the pastic cover

What a great saw!
I broke ranks with Stihl when I went searching for an in-tree saw.
I shopped all brands and pulled the trigger on the CS-355T. This little guy is a beast! I purchased it with the 14" bar to keep the weight down.
I like the fact of it having a two-bolt bar and that it has more power than Stihl's, top of the line, $650 in-tree saw and that Echo's warranty is 5 Years!
My first tree I used it in was a 30' Beech. The limbs averaged 6-9" and 9"x14" elongated at the trunk.
Four straight hours of trimming and only pausing for gas. Not a hint of bogging. It ripped through the limbs with ease and with plenty of power to spare.
I absolutely love it!

Pros:
* lightweight
* comfortable
* strong/fast saw that handles oak well
Cons:
* hard to start when cold
* poor factory setup
* oiler clogs quickly
Got this saw last month. The initial setup/breakin was rocky. First start took about about 30min of hauling on the cord to get it to fire up. Stock settings according to the manual. Once it started I had to kill it and adjust the idle screw way back, it has a short taper and was on full blast by default, the brake started smoking right away. Low/Hi mix settings need adjusting as the default (should be rich for break-in) is pretty lean. Once past that the saw runs well, revvs up fast and cuts through oak and cedar without issue. It's light and easy to handle when I'm up in the branches. Biggest complaint after running for a while though is the oiler gets clogged easily.
