Q:How do I get the two piece tube to stop blowing off when using? The one connected to the machine snaps in and is fine, however the other does not lock in, so when using the one piece blows right off.

Q:Will the tubes from my old Echo ES-1000 fit onto the the Echo PB-2520? My old tube is the narrow flat one that worked well getting out leaves that were stuck into the grass. The tubes that come with PB-2520 are wide open at the end.

Excellent blower
This model is light weight, powerful, fuel efficient, and with Echo Red Armor 2 stroke oil in the gas, will run cleanly for years to come! I love it!

Very good, but NOT perfect, and it could be !

Throttle control lever...so handy!

DISLIKES:
Takes a couple of minutes to get up to top speed!
VERY sharp edges where the plastic housing halves meet.
Had to file the edges down and applied tennis racquet tape.
That's the reason for the 4 STARS!!

Works Like It Should
I bought this Echo PB-2520 From Home depot In Crystal River, FL Today Because My Husavarna 125B stopped working after 6 yrs. I figured i would give this brand a try because it comes with a 5 yr warranty. I brought it home & took it out of the box & put the tubes together & put gas mixture in the tank & did what the directions said to do & it fired right up. I shut it off & it started right back up. I used it for 5 minutes before it started raining here. I hope this last longer than 6 yrs like my old one did

Echo blower
At the blower for 5 years first two years it ran great that's at 4 year then it wouldn't start so I cleaned the carburetor 2 years still running strong the only thing is you have to keep the air filter clean

This blower has tons of power! The throttle keeper lever is a nice feature and helps with hand fatigue. I am super impressed by the power output, as it pulls leaves up that are buried under grass. I would give it 5 stars if it hadn’t been such a pain to get started out of the box and if the blow tube attached to the machine more securely. It’s a little loose fitting and the bottom portion occasionally pops off. Over all I would recommend this blower.

Powerful blower! Tough to start
The blower has tons of power. Good for clearing driveway and leaves on the lawn. The throttle keeper is a nice feature. My biggest gripe is that it was a big pain to get started out of the box. I also wish the blow tube attached more securely to the body.

Great blower!
I just purchased this today and was pretty excited to fire this sucker up and give it a try. For people who live in mentor/lake county you probably know it poured for hours last night & the blower did a extremely great job cleaning up the leaves in my backyard. I was actually very shocked.. this is a solid purchase for 150 dollars.

I don't believe the Hype
I bought this for Home Depot on Spring Break hoping to give my yard a boost. Also bought a trimmer and lawn mower that are perfect. I took the one out the box ...inserted the tubes, added gas and guess what......it won't start!. I we t through the process at least twenty times it will not start. I am using the Echo RedArmour 50:1 mix . IT WILL NOT START!!!!
I will try to exchange it but I think I'm out of luck....... I'm very disappointed

Nicely built
Just picked one up, seems solid like all their other products I own. I have another echo backpack blower that works incredibly, but its awkward getting on my roof with it, so got this for the task. In response to the reviews that mention the tube falls off, it is possible that they installed the curved tube backwards. If installed in the proper orientation, the protruding tabs on the curved tube should line up with grooves on the straight tube then twist to lock into place. I can see how its easy to install the curved tube backwards because the drawing isn't the best, and if it is installed backwards, there are no protruding tabs to mate with the slots on the straight tube and no way to twist to lock. I hope this helps.
