How difficult is this mower for a woman to assemble. Will Home Depot assemble?
Asked by: Ginny
Ginny, the mower is fully assembled all you have to do is open the box pull the handles up first adjust the handles to a comfortable position for your size and tighten the two wing nuts one located on each side of the handles. Echo made it very east for the consumer and before you begin read the instruction manual

how many battery should be included. 1 or 2 ?

2 battery lots should come up with 2 batteries ?
Asked by: albert
Oh my gosh, unless you have a small lawn, you need the second battery. One battery lasts from 25 to 40 minutes - not long enough for most lawns. And you have to wait for the battery to cool down before it will take a charge. I would not buy this mower - read my full review.

Do I need to register it online to ECHO to entitle the warranty the warranty they provided.

I brought this product via Home Depot online. I received it 4 weeks and had been used for a few times. Its nice and user friendly.

21 in. 58-Volt Brushless Lithium-Ion Cordless Battery Walk Behind Push Lawn Mower - 4.0 Ah Battery/Charger Included is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 612.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from large size mower with great features The 21 inch larger width mower is able to cut down on the mowing time due to the enhanced size. The mower is supplied with one battery, but has an extra battery storage on board to allow for switching off during use. The mower runs quiet and has a very easy starting method. The starter button is on the handle. The key is positioned near the battery. Blade is set to mowing height by using a lever at each wheel. A mulching plug is provided for cutting and re-cutting of grass to finer clippings. A rear grass bag is also included, which easily attaches and is removed as needed. A battery cover is also part of the design, which protects the battery from moisture and debris. A nice feature is that the mower comes with a full instruction booklet and safety glasses. For storage, the handle easily collapses down. This is a high quality product, well designed, and easily put into use. The features are well made and appreciated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Mower I have EVER used I have had numerous lawn mowers and a riding lawn mower over the years. But this Echo 21 in 58 Volt walk-behind cordless mower has been the best one I have used. It is unbelievably lightweight which enables the operator to easily maneuver this mower around turns and tight spaces with virtual ease. Most importantly, the cut is sharp and the finished product (the lawn) looks absolutely gorgeous. Never having a cordless/battery operated mower, I was a little skeptical. However, this product is engineered superbly and when operating, it's operating noise is considerably quieter than traditional gas operated mowers. After using it for almost a year now, it has proven to be durable. The battery charger, charges up the batteries quite fast. No need to deal with buying gas and changing the oil. Very easy to maintain. I give this Echo mower my highest endorsement and encourage anyone who is thinking about their first cordless mower, to buy this one. You will NOT be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent mower for the average home I've had the Echo cordless mower for a few months and let me tell you, it's been a great purchase. If you have an average yard and are good with the cost, I wouldn't hesitate to give my recommendation. Our lot is around 8,000 sq. ft., with a smaller front yard and larger back yard. We can EASILY mow both with one battery. The mower knows when things get a little heavy and adds power to compensate. That said, it has plenty of power to begin with, so don't let that - and the fact that it's electric - get in your head. If you live on a ranch or are mowing knee-high grass, maybe get something else. One of the reviews I read here just made me scratch my head; not sure why some people think the way they do. I've personally had zero problems and it's soooo easy to use. Forget ever having to run to the gas station with your little can or spilling oil again. The Echo cordless 58-volt mower is effortless to start, half the noise of a gas mower, and folds right up to store easily (see photo of my mower in the corner cupboard of our garage). If you're in the market for electric, look no further! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

It cuts great. We have a .25 acre lot and always have battery power left when we are done with the yard. We bought an extra battery and rotate them. The mower and batteries are little expensive, but for the simplicity it's completely worth it. No gas, no oil to change, no pull starting. Put the battery in, push the button and start mowing. Batteries usually take about .5 hours to charge. Looking forward to many more years of service. I would recommend this mower to anyone who push mows.

Not self propelled, but not a problem. The mower is light and easy to push. I like the simplicity and quietness. I also like being able to store the mower upright in my garage. It takes up a very small space. My lawn is small (less than 2500 sq ft) and flat. The LEDs on the battery show 50% charge remaining after I mow my lawn. Haven't tried the bag. I mulch and it works very well. Highly recommended. Maybe 5 stars. Too early to tell.

It's gone through 5 Florida summers with the charger and battery stored in the hot garage year round. It's had zero issues and still has the same runtime and power as when new. Years later, I can still buy (although I have not needed to) an OEM replacement battery for it at Home Depot right off the shelf which is unheard of in modern products that change design by the time you get it home.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great until switch failed and can't be replaced Purchased in August 2017. Used it about 20 times. Loved it. Good power. Good battery life. Then it occasionally started cutting out. After using a few more times it wouldn't continue to run more than 20 seconds. Determined it was the safety switch. Took into certified Echo repair shop. They spent two months trying to get the replacement switch from the manufacturer with no luck. Finally they suggested I give up and buy something else!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy and Enjoyable is My Echo Cordless Mower I've had the Echo Cordless 21" mower now for almost two mowing seasons and I absolutely love it! It's lightweight to maneuver around my trees, no where near as loud as my neighbors gas mowers, starts on a dime, every time, and does a great job of mulching my leaves and twigs. I originally purchased only one battery with this mower but it is plenty on one charge to mow my front and side yard. The back yard is bigger with no trees so the grass is also thicker. I save that for another day. This Echo cordless mower is perfect for an average sized yard and for someone who cannot handle any heavy walk-behind mowers, who wants a more quieter experience, yet have it mulch at the same time, very economical to run/maintain so you don't have to worry about engine repairs or lugging the unit to a repair shop. Mowing my lawn is totally enjoyable now and the results are beautifully clean. This is an amazing lawn mower. THE BEST I HAVE EVER OWNED. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from one if the best mowers I owned, for the first year Bought the mower, trimmer and hedger a couple years ago. First year I owned it was the best push mower iv ever had. Light easy to use, and the best part not having to mess with oil or gas or any of that. That being said after the first year the battery life took a serious dive. Other than that haven't had an issue. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THIS MOWER! I purchased this mower about 3 years ago, and have been happy until I hit a rock and bent the blade. Turns out Echo has STOPPED making blades for this mower, and cannot be found online or in store, even on their own parts store. So now I guess I'm stuck with a very large, very heavy paper weight. https://echo.ordertree.com/mower-blade-58v.html

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save yourself the headache I purchased the suite of ECHO products from HD. After two seasons of lighter than normal use, the mower has been sent for repair twice. HD does not service ECHO in store so it was sent out and took 5 weeks for return. The blower in this series flew apart and quit working after one season. Really, avoid this line entirely. The absolute worst.

When I first unpacked the mower, I was a little shocked how light it was, and thought it was kind of "toylike" - not constructed in a heavy-duty fashion. But I find that the light construction makes mowing all the easier. It works great. We shall see how long the mower holds up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wow stunning No more gas! Wow this is very light, easy to push and the best part is no more gas. To bad the kid cant blame not cutting grass on being out of gas and the 58 volt battery charges in no time. Its stylish, nice looking light but rugged at the same time. You don't have to use the bag it mulches the grass with the bag detached. The ECHO 21 inch is several inches bigger than a lot of the other types available and makes cutting the yard that much faster. The handle folds down on the mower deck very easy. I fold the handle remove the batteries and tip up against the wall for smaller storage footprint. And no worries no gas! so no spills. This is cordless so no worries about that. Changing blade height is very easy and only takes seconds.

This Echo lawnmower is my first venture into the world of cordless lawn equipment. I chose this over gas powered for two reasons, (1) maintenance, and (2) weight. We mow our three acres using our garden tractors and we trim it with a Stihl 2-cycle weed trimmer. I purchased the Echo to buzz around and under trees... pretty much as a supplement to the weed trimmer. Despite several internet videos claiming that the torque produced by the Echo rivals their gas-powered mowers, I found this not to be the case. While I found the torque to be better than expected, you will not punch the Echo through wet or tall grass. I tested this on 6" tall moist grass using the mulching function (you leave the mulch insert in place), and also using the rear bagger (you remove the mulch insert to allow clippings to collect in the bag). In both cases, the mower bogged down under these conditions. It does manage dry, 3-4" high grass very well and I got about 30-35 minutes of usage out of each 4.0 Ah battery (I bought a second battery... it ships with one). PROS: Weight Composite deck No gas, oil, fuel stabilizer, carb issues, etc. 2-bay battery storage (you change to a fresh battery by flipping over a contact key) Re-charge time of about 1 hour Warranty CONS: Price Small bagger means several trips to the compost pile Wheel height adjustment is a bit tedious In summary, I do recommend the Echo 58v lawnmower for homeowners with small, root-free lawns. I also recommend the rear attaching, left throw grass chute for those wanting to mow fast with no concerns for grass clippings left on the ground. I am using the grass chute exclusively now because I pre-mow with the Echo and we re-cut over the clippings with our tractors.
