Q:I have an Echo 14 inch chainsaw and I use the Echo pre-mixed fuel and oil for it. This works really great and there is no mixing required. Does this weed eater use the same fuel and oil? It would really be great, and so convenient if they did. Thx.

Echo weed wacker
I recently just bought this 2 days ago the second day using it already had excessive oil leaking it’s crazy to me I’m like it literally brand new I might have to exchange it for a new since I got warranty on it

New models have a lot of issues
I have purchased a number of Srm 225s over the years and they used to work great, but now they are junk. Ignition coils on the new models go bad after barely one season of use, sometimes even less…They also leak a ton of leftover 2 cycle oil out the muffler. Never had an issue with the old models but these are no better than the cheap-o models. Very disappointed in Echo…

Don't buy
Weed eater first tank was great second hard to start third tank you might get it to start. Trimmer head has a hard time feeding string out and a lot of black oil pouring out of muffler. Now after looking at the reviews I wish I had read them first all the same problem. Included picture of exhaust this is just three tank full using premix gas Home depot carries

Will start 25% of the time
Bought this new in May 2021 and have only been able to use 25% of the time. The other times it will not start. I only use the pre mixed fuel purchased from Home Depot and I follow the instructions for starting that is given in the manual. I am very dissatisfied with the quality of this trimmer

5 uses...AND IT LEAKS OIL
I purchased this model and it leaks oil after the first couple of uses. Just like the other reviews. So done with gas. Milwaukee M18

Great blower
It was easy to put together. Cranks perfectly every time. Make sure you run the gas out each time, and use mid grade or higher. Also use the recommended oil. The power is great and it will blow wet leaves and sticks. It is very comfortable too. Best backpack blower I’ve ever had or used.

This blower is totally awesome! One of the best lawn equipment I have ever purchased. Needs a harnessed or strap designed to hold both shoulder straps center to the chest. With harness or strap pulled together chest center, shoulder straps won't roll off your shoulders ends. The center harness will pull shoulder straps closer together. This will lift backpack higher on your back for a sturdier carry. I welcome any proceeds to me for this wonderful idea. I've design a strap for my own blower. Thank you!

My first Echo purchase....very disappointing
The pull string to start broke after one year. Contacted Home Depot and they don't carry the part. I "upgraded" to this after my Craftsman went on me, but that was after 10+ years of service. Didn't even get one hurricane season out of this overpriced joke. I will never spend the extra for an Echo product again, not going to get me twice.

This is a work horse.
I love reviews. This trimmer has over 6000. So I got one. I have two acres about 30 trees, outbuilding, garage, and coop. Takes about an hour to weed wack everything. Not once did it stop, slow down, or give in. It is a work horse. I do need a strap for it but only a preference for straighter lines. Not to heavy.
