Hi CSM11! Thank you for your inquiry. The free trimmer attachment promotion is handled through independent ECHO dealers. To locate a dealer who is participating in this promotion, please visit, https://www.echo-usa.com/Promotions/National-Sales-Event.
I have the 2620 with the larger 25.4 CC engine. The power that it delivers is unlike any power head of its size that I have used before. At least 2-3 times the power of the Husqvarna it replaced.
It will accept any ECHO PAS attachments.
Yes, all the echo attachments series are compatible.
The only way I can see it shutting off like that would be if the fuel line with the filter in the gas tank comes out of the fuel level when angled in a particular way. You may have to check that. That would be about the only way I can picture that happening. I don't work for echo but have had several unit I mean several from the attachment series for using as weed eaters, edgers and bush trimming to blowers etc. These units are incredibly reliable.
Unfortunately, ECHO does not have information on the Honda models. However, you can obtain all technical specifications for the PAS-2620 by visiting the following link; https://www.echo-usa.com/Products/X-Series/Pro-Attachment-Series/PAS-2620
I don't think so.
I guess that depends upon what attachments you need to run. I bought a brush saw attachment. The attachment came with a shoulder strap ... I guess Echo figures you should use one with the saw attachment. Truth be known, the whole assembly is MUCH harder to use with the shoulder strap than without. The balance of the power head against the brush saw is just about perfect so I use mine without the strap. Now, I realize that I just might not be the smartest person in the world ... but the strap was VERY hard to figure out. It took me about 30 minutes to unpack and assemble the power head and brush saw. It took me nearly an hour to figure out how to wear the darn harness where it didn't seem like the power shaft was right under my arm pit. 2620 and brush saw I give 5 stars each. The shoulder harness I give 1 star.
