This is a nice blower. Way more power than my old one. I got it on sale where they included an extra 5Ah battery, which made it a pretty good deal.

Got this for Fathers day, didn't care that it was Pink in color. First off the Pink is for a Good cause. Second it was cheaper than the orange one and it came with an extra Battery, yes it came with 2 batteries. I already own the orange one and needed more batteries, so this was a smart purchase. This blower was easy to assemble and easy to use and very light in weight. This will be my backup incase the other goes bad, my orange one I've owned for a year 1/2 and still works great. So I have confidence in I wont be needing to buy a blower for awhile. Don't hesitate to buy An Echo blower the battery life is great, I use the same battery on my Echo dpas weed eater while doing my front and back yard, and still have 3 bars left when done. I own the Echo 12" Top handle chainsaw, blower, straight shaft weed eater, and the dpas power head unit, which all take the same battery. Would love to buy the hedge trimmer attachment but cant afford it at this time. Again don't hesitate to add the Echo Eforce family to your home yard projects.

ECHO CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE/ NON EXISTENT!!! BOUGHT THIS BLOWER WITH BATTERY AND THE BLOWER HAS LOST POWER, IT'S NOT THE BATTERY! I HABE A BEE BATTERY AND BLOWER STILL " BLOWS" I'M STILL UNDER WARRANTY BUT DONT LIVE CLOSE TO A SERVICE CENTER, JUST WANT A NEW ONE TO REPLACE THE BAD ONE!!!!

This Echo 56V X series work well and has lots of power. It was packed well and only minimal assembly and the battery had some charge out of the box. I fully charged the battery before I used it. I have a 9000 sq ft lot with lots of deck and and walkways. We have large oaks that keep me busy. I use my leaf blower almost every day. I have been able to blow my front and back yard on a single charge each time I have used it and even had power left on the battery. I very rarely use the turbo and I am sure if you used turbo it would have a shorter run time. It has a comfortable handle and variable-speed throttle with cruise control. The battery is heavy but the blower is balanced well while using it. It is definitely easier to use than a gas blower.

I acquired this leaf blower to help clear debris that builds up in our front and back yard. The kit includes the main body, the tube, battery, charger, and user operating manuals. It is constructed of mostly plastic, with the exception of the tip of the tube that is metallic. It has a harness mount towards the front of the handle. Assembling the blower is a two-step process. Attach the tube to the body, install the battery and you are good to go. Installing the tube to the body takes getting used to. It seems to be easier to install with every use. The battery installs with minimal effort. Disassembly is simple. To remove the tube from the body, you press a release button on the top and pull them apart. To remove the battery, you press a release switch and pull it out of the body. Very simple. The leaf blower has the following ratings: 549 CFM air volume, 158MPH air speed, 56V battery system, and a weight of 6.66 lbs. I weighed the blower with the battery installed. It was 11.2 lbs. Operating the blower is a no-brainer. There’s a power switch that controls the speed of the air depending on how much you press it. There is a “turbo” button on the top of the handle that gives it extra force. The “cruise control” lever on the left side of the body allows you to operate the blower without having to press the power switch. Charging the battery Is also a no-brainer, too. Simply plug the charger into a power outlet, slide the battery onto the charger and it does the rest. There are indicator lights on the charger to let you know what it is doing. The battery has an easy-to-read charge indicator to let you know how much charge is remaining. My initial observation using the blower is that it has a bit of weight to it. Depending on your strength, you may need to alternate hands during extended uses. It has a harness mount, but it did not include the harness, so I can’t comment on that feature. It is very easy to operate. You pull the power switch to adjust the air that flows out of it. If you need extra force, you can press the turbo switch on the top of the handle. I was able to clear our brick patio of plant litter—it worked like a charm and had plenty of power to get the job done. I like the variable speed control, it is very responsive. I found that I can get things done without maxing it out. It operates much quieter than gas powered blowers. Although it’s a bit on the heavy side, that didn’t bother me much. Finaly, It feels well balanced in the hand. For its ease of use, power, quality and practicality, I would recommend this leaf blower.

A monster blower that has a great TURBO mode and great button/lever that “holds” the speed you want. What is so great about this is that you don’t have to keep holding or pressing anything and it will stay on AND keep the blower running at the pace you are wanting. I did feel I used it mostly in turbo. The regular lowest setting didn’t do too much for me. I used turbo to clean out leaves and leftover winter debris out of my rock areas, some mulch areas and patio. My husband used it one afternoon for his part of the leaf clean up and I used it for part of the backyard and it still had plenty of power. In fact it still said completely charged. So that battery is powertul! It is quite a large blower and as my husband had no trouble it was a bit too heavy for me to use for a long span of time. Looking forward to using in the winter to blow snow off the sidewalk and porches. Also it does recommend wearing ear protection and I definitely agree… with the turbo on it does have a high pitch noise to it.

Another product I was stoked to test out since I already have a 56v string trimmer from Echo now for about 3 years and I love it. I was a little bummed the batteries are not interchangeable. Besides that I like the look and feel. It seems pretty well balanced and easy to swing. Its nice and light and easy to maneuver. The power is adequate in high throttle but it get even better in "turbo" mode. It does shorten battery life but I was able to clean out a few planting beds and my walkway without losing any battery life. I would love to have received this in the fall to give it a good test run. If the battery is anything like my older trimmer, I'll be fine. Any downside to battery powered tools is all the hassle that comes with gas powered ones. If you're not using it for business, these tools will do you good. This thing is ideal for smaller jobs. It always runs. It'll never let you down. Its clean, quiet and convenient. Look forward to putting this to the test.

The is the DPB-2610 model of the Echo 56V X Series handheld blower which is replacing the DPB-2500 series. It arrived with the 5.0Ah Battery & Rapid Charger. I am comparing its performance with a name-brand (orange) two-cycle gas blower. The first thing I noticed is how heavy the unit is, batteries are heavier than motors. As I unboxed the components, I noted they were well packaged and of good quality construction suitable for intense outdoor use. The blower nozzle even has a metal ring to protect the plastic! Then I hoisted out the charger, plugged it in and inserted the battery. I was surprized to hear a cooling fan start -- I guess charging quickly at 56 volts takes a large transformer. There was NOT a notable burnt electronic smell that sometimes happens with new electronics. Once fully charged I bega using the blower. The trigger allows for variable blower speed, there is a top on/off button to provide supercharged blower speed. On the side is a tab that rotates to hold the blower on at various speeds. It took a few minutes to adjust to the controls, but once I stopped treating it like a gas blower, operation became intuitive. I found it nice that I can quickly grab it to blow something I missed without having to restart a gas motor. I blew out my garaage for spring and the super performance seemed comparable to my gas blower. I cannto comment on the length of operation as this would require the tree leaves to fall upon my grass and as it is spring and not fall, they just aren't there. Overall, I recommend this unit.

High quality that Echo is known for. Very powerful! I am finally switching to all battery Echo power equipment and have zero regrets.
