A: Coverage will be up to 300 sq.ft/gallon, dependent on the sprayer tip size, pressure of the sprayer, and how quickly you move the sprayer across the surface. Extra thick coats are not needed.
A: Yes, I believe it will seal it all. If it's a high traffic area, like a painted wood floor, it will have to be redone whenever it wears through.
A: LeadDefender can be applied over the semi gloss paint. To insure good adhesion, we recommend you de-gloss and clean the surface first.
A: LeadDefender may be applied over the primer. Best results are achieved when LeadDefender is in direct contact with the paint containing lead, but it's possible to apply the product in other ways and still gain benefits. Alternatively, you can chemically de-gloss the semi gloss paint and then apply LeadDefender over it without the primer, avoiding the sanding step.
