Consistent air pressure supply
Our previous compressor would struggle to supply consistent air pressure as required by our filling equipment, or else the production line would stop.
We needed a compact enough machine with the right power to eliminate the line stoppages.
The Emax 80 gallon fit that need. We have had zero line stoppages and the compressor has performed flawlessly. Definately the right tool for the job.

This the largest, with the most output, of any compressor I have owned. Installation was pretty straight forward if you are familiar at all with electrical work. It runs quieter than my previous ones even without the silencer that is available. Pumps up from its baseline pressure to 165# in about 30 seconds or so even being attached to a couple of hundred feet of line throughout the shop. I have never had the auto drain feature before but I like it a lot. During operation I notice my filter/traps have less water in the lines than previously. Time will tell about durability, of course, but if fit and finish are any indication it should be a long lasting tool. I advise getting it delivered to the location you will be using it. I had it delivered to my local store and it was a real hassle loading and securing it to my trailer. It is, like most upright compressors, EXTREMELY top heavy. By having it delivered to the store and having to deal with hauling it to my shop cost me an unnecessary 3 hrs of my time. Be sure to read all the electrical requirements as this may not be suitable for some home/garage installations.
