A: My electrician used a 50 amp circuit to operate my compressor. So if you look up the requirements for a 50 amp motor load at the distance you have from the box to the motor you should be able to locate an online chart for recommendations on wire type & gage better to go little heavier . Low voltage will shorten the motor life.

A: If you download the manual, it says use a 60 amp breaker and 4 gauge wire. Peak start amps is 270. Single phase motors typically use 4 times the running load current to start. You could damage the motor starting with this generator.
