A: Thank you for posting your question. The handle of an EMCO 100 Series Self-Storing Storm Door can be locked inside. The inside latch of a push button hardware has a component called the night latch. The purpose of the night latch is to lock the door from the inside of the house. To lock it, you can move the night latch by sliding up the pin/button. To unlock, just slide it down. You may visit the nearest Home Depot store in your area to check our door displays. - Claire

A: The screen is on the outside when glass in down. It is hard to keep the glass clean. Just so you know, the screen has to stay in or the glass isn't secure when down.
