Can these be easily cut to size

Can these be installed outdoor exposed to the elements?

When using these when handrail is not horizontal, but it's angled on ascending stairs, do you have to cut the baluster at an angle at the top since the hand rail is angled? Any directions for this?

What is a tap and twist baulster
Hi Frank, This baluster installs easily with our Tap and Twist Hollow Baluster Kit. Each Tap and Twist Kit can install up to 5 balusters and is available in two sizes: 1/2" Kit – Model #: 92001-TNT-HD00S 5/8" Kit – Model #: 92001-TNT-HD58S. For larger installations, we also offer a Pro Pack Kit, which can install up to 30 balusters. The model number for the Pro Pack is 92001-TNT-HD30S.
Can you use Tap and Twist to install them on the handrail ?
Hi Franklin, Yes, these balusters can be easily installed using our TNT.
Can these be cut in store if you bring in one of the old balusters that was removed for the exact length?
Hi Amanda, That is a great question! Normally, Home Depot cuts wood purchased in the store but, please feel free to go to your local Home Depot store and ask if they can be able to assist you. Thanks!
Is there an extension possibility for this? I want the pole to go from the step straight up into the floor of the next level. Appearing To be one long seamless hole, adding height to the room.
Hi Nisa, Unfortunately, there isn’t an extension for this baluster. I recommend you will have to have one made out of tubular steel.
