The Surewood-LNL Unfinished Red Oak Level Quarter-Turn Fitting is made for interior use from attractive natural oak. It is sold unfinished, allowing you to finish it to match other stair parts or decor. It is suited to be installed on level balcony runs that turn 90° or is attached to fittings where a 90° turn is required. A:  Hi Riccardo, unfortunately, none of our fittings will come pre-drilled due to varying install requirements. You can search our complete fittings assortment on Homedepot.com, Evermark Fittings. We have a variety of styles that have left and right capability.

    A:  Hi Izzy, thank you for the question. There are a few methods to use when fastening to handrail fittings. First, we recommend using the Spring Bolt Rail to Rail kit when attaching the fitting to the handrail. Using these Spring Bolts saves time when compared to using standard rail bolt kits. Second, attaching to the wall is accomplished by using a rosette. Attach the rosette to the end of the quarterturn fitting by drilling a wood screw through the back of the rosette. Then, after the rail piece is assembled, attach it to the wall by drilling a wood screw through the rosette, and into your drywall. Be sure that there is a stud behind the drywall where you attach the fitting, or the rail will pull out from the wall. If you have additional questions, we'll reply as quickly as we can.       A:  Hi Randy, thank you for your question. This handrail fitting will match the 6210 handrail profile, which is 2-5/8 in. wide, and 2-3/8 in. tall. This fitting is 6-5/16 in. wide, from the square/flush cut, to the outside edge of the 90-degree turn. From the flush cut to the inside edge, is 3-11/16 in. The flush cut to the centerline of the 90-degree turn is 5.0 inches. I hope that answers your question, though if you have more questions or need more information, we'll reply as quickly as we can.           Hi Marlin, we know this can get tricky - there are many different profiles of rail. The way to ensure the correct match is to look at the 2nd number of both Part #s. If you purchased a 6010 Series Rail, the 7011 fitting is what you'd need to match. In your case, you would have needed to purchase our 6210 series handrail if you wanted to use this 7211 fitting!           Hi Darg, it sounds like the incorrect fitting was purchased. The rails we stock in the store are in the 6010 rail profile. I can tell by the item number of this fitting that it's made to match a similar, but larger profile, called the 6210 profile. The item # that will fit the store's profile is 7011R-000-HD00L. The store SKU is 467-369. Notice that the 2nd digit in the rail and fitting item numbers match. The 6010 handrails will match any fitting that begins with 70xx. As long as the 2nd digits match, the rail profile, and the fitting profile, will match. If you have additional questions, we’ll reply as quickly as we can.
