How do I best attach this base cover to a concrete base?

AnswerHi Roberto. It is not necessary to attach the base cover to the concrete floor or base; it is secure around the 3" EZ Post and stays in place using its own weight. Base cover looks great
This is an aluminum post base cover with a power-coated white finish. This post base cover is a part of the complete EZ Handrail system. This handrail system can be used just about anywhere, but is probably most useful in commercial environments, salt-water applications, and high-end residential applications.
It is a well-built product. Even the welds are aluminum and are cleanly done.
No installation parts are needed. You use this post base cover with any of the White Aluminum EZ posts (3in by 3in).
I installed a post next to my sun-room, as the beginnings of a "barrier" or "fence" for a dog run. Then I added the post base cover to it.
Base covers are sold separately from the posts, but I highly recommend that you get them; they give the posts a more finished look. Minimal maintenance, and a 10-year warranty to boot. Sounds great!

Nice Finishing Touch
We used this EZ post base cover on a new stair railing for our front porch. The EZ hand rail system and accessories are powder coated and are a big improvement over the former wrought iron railing we had before. It had rusted and was very unsightly! This base cover provided a neat finish to the job. The base does have to be ordered separately, but it makes for a much nicer, professional looking finish. It easily slides down the post once the post is installed.

These do the job
I'm giving these covers only 4 stars because both of the ones I received had casting defects at one corner of the 3 X 3 hole. I thought about smoothing out the defects with a file, and then using the touch-up paint, but in the end I chose to install them as they came to me. Be aware that the cross-bolts that you use to install the posts to the base have to be installed low enough so that they don't interfere with these covers -- otherwise the covers won't sit down on the post mounting surface. Worth the cost
We debated whether or not we needed to install base covers with our porch railings. My husband encouraged me to go ahead and order them and I was not disappointed. The base covers give the posts a finished and professional look. Plus, with small children out and about, it's nice to know that all the screws are covered. Very glad that we ordered these!
