A: this product is designed for a small repair job, so priming is not necessary, you can just use paint that has prime included.

A: You need to adjust the pressure on your compressor. turn to 130 psi and mix your mud thin. you will be surprised on the results.

A: I've used this gun to texture ceilings that I've patched for customers without a problem. What I like about the gun is that you squeeze the bag of drywall mud to control how heavy you want the texture, so you aren't depending on the spray guns gravity feeding mechanism. I would highly recommend this solution for the problem you are having.

The best quick texture gun I’ve seen in years

I had a couple of quick patch jobs, and walls I had to throw up, I went through $300 of aerosol cans before I grabbed this thing. It has saved me over $1000 no crap. Amazing quality, and easy to use. I can’t recommend it enough!! It’s my favorite new tool!!

great concept but dont expect proffesional results

Gets too expensive to buy the replacement bags and texture mixture shrinks way too much, like just about all other options for patch work. Does not deliver a proffesional looking result because the texture is just too runny

Do not buy this. Go to harbor freight and buy the $30 texture hopper gun. Mix a 5 gallon joint compound with water until runny pancake batter. Fill and spray way more consistent than this piece of junk

This is a very good system. Easy to use and very little mess. The texture is expensive but if you refill the bags they only cost around .50 a bag. The gun cleans up easy and like I said there is very little mess compared to using a hopper.
