EZ Sand - works great
EZ Sand was easy to use and a good value for the cost. As a first time polymeric sand user, I was impressed with the ease of use and the look. It worked perfect between my cobblestone pavers and allowed for a me to be creative and produce a cobblestone look. It has been a month and I have zero complaints.

Fairly good application/installation instructions. Unfortunately, it's impossible to determine the amount of material required. As with tile grout, the amount of sand required depends on the width, depth, length and number of joints. Their tech sheet says a can will cover 40 to 50 sq-ft with joints 1/8" to 1/2". I had 150 sq-ft of block so I purchased 3 cans. I ended up using a little less than 2. Another trip to Home Depot for the return. Other than that, the joints look great. Very happy with it.

Ineffective
This product did not cure/set up uniformly. There are places that did seal as advertised, but other areas that are simply sand. Weeds are growing up through the pavers. Even the ants relocated some of the product back up to the top of the pavers. See pics.

Avoid at all cost
So I got two of the brown polymeric sand buckets to start my stone cobble walk watered it according to instructions and it never hardened. Tried the gray polymeric sand and it actually hardened well so go with the gray.

Heed the warnings
poor, if not, none existent quality control for this product. I bought the tan color, it's not tan. dried out to be mostly gray and dingy/ dirty looking. by the looks of the reviews since people get mostly a white color sometimes, or actual tan. long term reliability is questionable but a little too soon to tell. if you spent any time or effort on your project so it will turn out nice, use something other than this. I beg you.

Expect and plan on hazing
Tips:
- The joints are solid, but I got hazing (see pic). The binders stayed in the troughs in my textured pavers (even after leaf blowing). If you are DIY, expect hazing. I will wait a month for curing and then experiment to remove haze (planning to use a steamer).
- Don't count to 30s, instead analyze the joints as you water. Soak the joints thoroughly and check with screwdriver to see if bottom sand is wet.
- Keep dry 1 week after install. Use tarps if rain.

Finishing the patio
Follow the instructions and it looks and performs great. Pavers are rock solid now - no movement. I actually exchanged the tan for gray.
